We were walking around Barcelona and came upon Maur which looked really interesting and had a great menu. Got a table and the helpful waiter helped us with a few things on the menu that we weren't sure about. Had a carafe of house red wine which was lovely. We ordered mushroom croquettes to start and they were really very tasty then we both had pizza. I ordered one with rocket and Parmesan.....it was lovely but it wasn't real Parmesan, maybe a Spanish equivalent? All around us other people were enjoying some great looking food...the steaks looked particularly good. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant with a few large parties of locals celebrating birthdays and other smaller groups. I would recommend the restaurant and if I return I will be trying something else off the extensive menu as it all looked so good.
