“All the foods were perfect”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

I got recommended this restaurant from a local tour guide. I wanna find nice place to have my last dinner in Barcelona. I ordered steamed octopus and Shrimp. They are so fresh and delicious. A glass of Sangria went so well with them.

Next day, I visited this restaurant again. The menu of today was just 12 euros. We had a steak, a patella, grilled chicken and salad.. Only this expression.. Perfect. .

“Great restaurant for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 December 2013

We wanted to try a nice place for lunch and came especially for this place.
(Please note that Google Maps displayed the wrong location for this restaurant. So make sure to write down the address)

For lunch they had the "Day Special" which was actually a large menu.
It included a first course, main course and desert for 12 Euros.
(We also think it might include a drink, but not certain).

For first course we had: Eggplant Lasagne (which was very good), Sea food soup (also a good option).
For the main dish we had the grilled rabbit (it was nice, but a little dry. so look at other people as they seem to know what to order).

This place is very local, friendly and was ideal for lunch.

“Excellent food, lovely staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

Proper paella, lovely sautéed vegetables, and very reasonable pricing.
Staff were lovely, attentive and friendly.
I wish I could go here every week, shame I live hundreds of miles away. Thank you!

“Good food at reasonable prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2013 via mobile

We were here last night and chose this place based on other TripAdvisor reviews and because it was a two minute walk from our hotel. The set menu was very reasonable prices at 12 euros for three courses. Portions extremely large however one main was delivered before another, so I wish they had timed it better. However everything was delicious. Service friendly and we were welcomed warmly when we arrived. The place was not very busy when we arrived at 7:30 but by the time we had left, it was getting very busy indeed, with the tables outside all full.

Not the most classiest of places, but homely and simple atmosphere. Am intending on returning before we leave Barcelona.

“Excellent place with lots of Catalan specialities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2013

I can highly recommend l'Aribau in Carrer d'Aribau, 3. On a corner close to the impressive university from 1450. Here businesspeople and academics drop in for a three course lunch for 8,60€ (before 14, 9,60€ after 14h). Salad or today's soup, grilled meat or fish with poatatoes/vegetables and dessert. Excellent place with lots of Catalan specialities.
