We booked the Finca Prats for one night only , but wished we could have stayed longer. From the minute we walked up to the reception to the last minute we left the building it was all SERVICE written with capital A's. The room was excellent and roomy with its private terrace ( unfortunately it rained ) and the complete cellar was dedicated for the Spa with swimming pool, Turkish bath, Sauna, two whirlpools and several relaxing areas and massage rooms. Our stay was despite the bad weather very relaxing, because we took full advantage of the Spa that day. Lleida itself is nice enought for a half day stay and visit, but for us the main attraction was the Finca. Please note that finding it was a liitle hard because they have altered the roads in a ridiculours way. You must follow the new road in the direction of Huesca and after a mile or so take the service road on your right. This should take you to the entrance of the hotel

Strange title I know but we did struggle to find the hotel and certainly it's entrance off a fast flowing dual carriageway. More signs please....this is the only reason we couldn't give this great hotel full marks.
On arrival it wasn't at all what I was expecting as once past the golf club house the Hotel exterior resembles a 1970's office block however once inside it is an oasis of comfort and style and believe me after more than 3000 kms driving around Spain in a week we were ready for a bit of relaxation and rest.
Our room was lovely, nicely designed and a good comfy bed, well laid out bathroom, very stylish and modern, full width and floor to ceiling automatic window blind opens onto your own little court yard with high walls so totally private but a bit sterile, a nice pot with a tree or interesting plant would have softened this area but the high walls screens off the rest of the world and it's noises even the busy road. The only moan about the room was as you bent down to operate huge blind you don't notice a bulkhead running behind the bed and both my husband and I bumped our heads on it!
We too were met by the charming manager who took us on a tour, luckily i managed to book a late full body massage which was amaing, probably the best I've had anywhere and I've had a few so well done 'Laura'. Didn't use the pool.
Dinner was interesting, I probably didn't choose the right main course for me as i didn't enjoy the thick pieces of Octopus possibly because it wasn't to my taste however we did enjoy the dining experience and had we been staying longer would have eaten there again.
Purchased a few bottles of the lovely light Olive Oil available at the Hotel as it's wonderful and it was beatifully packaged for me at reception.
We had an OK breakfast next day, buffet style but things kept running out as it was quite busy but we didn't starve.
We would certainly return here and are very happy to recommend it to all.

Room Tip: We had a superior spa access room which was lovely

We stayed at the FInca Prats for one night on our way from southern Spain to France. We were looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and clean hotel. It has all of these attributes plus... it is very modern, the spa is excellent, the staff very helpful, the manager showed us round when we got there. We were upgraded to a junior suite. The restaurant was fine, with good service, and the food was very good. The room was lovely, with a spacious bathroom, but no views.
Only negative comment was the lack of signposting to the hotel - not the easiest to find.
I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking to walk to the town or another restaurant.
However, it was ideal for us for a peaceful and relaxing break on our journey.

We were on a wine inspired trip and were traveling between Rioja and Priorat and wanted to stay somewhere in the middle to accommodate all of our tours. We read the reviews on TA and decided on Finca Prats.

It's not the easiest to find. Our GPS had no idea, however the map app. on my phone finally did the trick.

We arrived and were promptly checked in and given a tour. The room was great with a nice large outdoor patio. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed a drink outside before dinner.

Dinner ended up costing us more than the hotel room (we didn't choose inexpensive wine) and we loved it and the service!

Nice workout facilities and a lovely breakfast.

Good Points
Upon arrival we were upgraded. We had booked a double room with an extra bed for our 10 year old son but the hotel had decieded to upgrade our lad to his own 5 star, 30m2 room, yes 2 rooms for the price of 1 (interconecting doors of course). He was over the moon as were we. Great start.
The rooms themselves are very spacious, modern and finished to a high standard and the beds are big.
The spa area is quite, clean and very relaxing. Resaurant is nice and the food is very good, Please note in my experience Never order beef steak in Spain, it just does not compare to a good English steak. That goes for ANYWHERE that I have eaten in Spain.

Not So Good (Nothing was bad by the way)
Being a big drinker I found the 6 euros for a small bottle of larger a bit of a pocket shocker. Imagine, 4 pints only (8 bottles) and you were hit for near on 50 notes.Ouch. Hotel location requires a car if you want to go anywhere, nearest town at least 3 miles away. Also Hotel is hard to find.

Overall
We stayed 2 nights, ate in the restaurant 1 night, kept it steady on the booze and it cost us £500 quid.

Overall a very nice 4.5 star experience. Worth a visit if you want to reax for a few nights.
