We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in hotel Capri. situated near the centre of town near the promenade and the shopping area, Towels Changed & room tidied every day Staff very helpful, and good english. Breakfast unbelievable, I put on half a stone in 7 days. Pool clean & checked every morning. Just a superb hotel that was good value for the cost and Salou can be very pricey

Room Tip: Ask for a Balcony, it will make your holiday

I loved this small hotel in Sitges. The location is close to the beach and all the activity and shopping. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was a corner suite with a terrace and view of the pool/garden and the street. The high ceilings and shuttered windows were old and charming and the linens were new and clean and crisp. Breakfast was more than adequate and they offered parking and free wifi. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this highly. It was also nice to have a double bed vs. the split twins we ran into in many places. The only thing that could improve was the mattress was on the hard side but we found this to be the case in many hotels in Spain and France.

Room Tip: We had room #105 - it has a double bed and nice light and a small intimate terrace.

I stayed in Hotel Capri at the end of August 2012, it was my first time there so I didn't know what to expect.
The first thing that struck me was the location, 4 minutes walk from the town centre (litterally, just around the corner from tourist packed streets and nightclubs) and about 2 minutes walk from the seafront. So, everything is at your doorsteps but you're not too exposed to the local buzz.
The hotel style is quite old fashioned, I liked the exteriors (old spanish villa-esque) but the interiours could do with a bit of refurbishing.
The big plus of our room was the balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
Staff are lovely but the breakfast could be much better, without a doubt.

I recommend this place for couples.

Great hotel! Nice location, just 100m from the beach. Very friendly and welcoming staff who speak good English. The room is very clean and is huge, so is the bathroom with jacuzzi in this.

Breakfast is a bit of a limited choice, but very good quality. Overall, highly recommended!
Our room wasn't ready until approx 2:30pm, but this wasn't a problem at all - we've left the luggage and went to have some nice lunch by the sea! :)

Room Tip: Our room was in a villa nearby, on the ground floor - and it was really huge and well decorated!

Other reviewers' reviews seem to veer to extremes. This was a perfectly adequate hotel, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff, in a nice if quiet area of town, near the beach and the promenade. Issues: we were placed in the building behind the main one, and because of this had a bit of a walk to the entrance, then up a few flights of stairs... Not a problem until it's pouring rain and you want to go to breakfast or to speak to Front Desk and have to slosh over the grass! The decor is a bit dated, the floor and surfaces were a bit dusty when we arrived, the soft furnishings (notably the cushions on the bed) a bit musty, the grout in the bathroom was moldy (though not dirty!) and the windows leaked when the rain hit. However, it's dated in a sweet and twee way that made me feel that we were in some Spanish granny's big country pile, and the breakfast is wide-ranging (tortilla, fruit, bacon, toast, cereals, rolls, cheeses, different hams, yogurts - don't know what other reviwers were complaning about!) and there's a pool. We arrived in mid-September, and the jacuzzi was cold, the fountain was dry - hammering the (barely) off-season message home. A perfectly fine place to stay; we paid £75 - not so much, really, but I think there may have been more modern/central options further in town for a bit less.

Super hotel, friendly, very helpful staff and spacious comfortable rooms away from the hustle and bustle. Only a short walk into the town. Lovely swimming pool. The breakfast was adequate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Sitges. I don t understand the negative comments posted by some but don t book here if you re looking for an ordinary hotel where the rooms are al exactly the same!

I paid 154 euros (peak season) for a room at Capri. Sitges is a popular place in August so I guess the price could be justified had the room been OK, but it wasn't. It was dirty and dingy. There were blood stains (at least it looked like blood) on the nylon bedspread, mold in the bathroom (see photo) and a door that was rotting from the bottom up (see photo). The room was tiny and my daughter's bed was directly below the air conditioning unit which only blew in one direction--down. If we left the air con on at night (it was 40 degrees centigrade), my daughter froze. If we turned it off, we boiled. My wife and I had stayed at Capri Hotel before and it had been a vastly different experience, but the part of the building we'd stayed in appeared to be unused. We recalled enjoying a bottle of wine next to the pool and returned to do the same on the evening we arrived, only to find the poolside bar had been replaced by a vending machine selling beer and soft drinks. The breakfast the following morning was dire. We went into town to get something to eat. You shouldn't have to do that when you've shelled out 154 euros for bed and breakfast. Although the people who run this establishment are lovely, their hotel isn't.
