A well-managed independent hotel but the swimming pool lets it down - small and in need of a re-furb.

At a conference with 60 people - food and service excellent, free wifi, rooms large, clean and tidy.

But, too much local art on display - can't see the wood for the trees

Room Tip: Lovely balcony overlooking local harbour (lots of yachts!)

The double room with balcony was very comfortable and clean with a fabulous balcony overlooking the sea. The staff are friendly and for the most part speak excellent English. One note for English travellers - no kettles available :(
The artwork is amazing and especially if you are into modern art. The hotel offers a tour with their curator.
This hotel is ideal if you want to be away from the central party atmosphere of the town but the walk is fairly arduous into the centre - about 30 minutes and quite hilly.

Room Tip: We had room 314 which overlooks the end of the port and the sea.

We have just returned from a weekend at this beautiful hotel. (6th June - 9th June 14). This was our first trip to Sitges so we didn't know what to expect... We were not disappointed!
We arrived late at the hotel (12.30am) and the chap on the reception was happy and very helpful... In fact all the staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and being a lazy English person who doesn't speak any language's, their English was good and appreciated!!!
Although we are not 'arty' type of people, you don't need to be to appreciate the art and statues around the hotel. Our room was lovely, very clean and very spacious. Beautiful bathroom and a really decent shower! Great little mini bar too! All the rooms pretty much have a sea view apart from some at the side that overlook the pool.
We only had breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment what lunch/dinner are like but the breakfast was lovely and fresh with nespresso coffee on tap... Aliitle on the expensive side at 11 euros each though. However it would seem to be the going rate as food and drink is on the expensive side in and around Sitges centre.
All in all, we would definitely return to this hotel and if you have booked to go, you too will not be disappointed :)
Tip - if you want to take a taxi into town, reception will call one for you...make sure it's an outside company as the hotel has a taxi but will cost you double the price.

Room Tip: Sea view a definite - the port is beautiful!

Overall, the hotel is fine, but not great.

Best part is that the rooms facing the water have balconies, which is nice for the view and sounds of the ocean. Also, rooms have small kitchenettes and refrigerators, which are very dated, but functional.

However, a few things were unappealing:

1. Parking garage was 15€/night, really small, and disorganized. People were double parked (despite the hotel assigning one spot per person) making a small garage even trickier to navigate. There were no working buttons to exit the garage meaning you had to stop by the front desk and ask them to let you out before you leave. Minor issues added up and made cost annoying.

2. Rooms are fairly dated. Old furniture, old appliances, etc. A "double" bed was old school European style with two twins pushed together. More updated hotels have replaced these with true doubles or queens.

3. Location is somewhat far from main center of town where historical buildings, main beach, and restaurants are located. About a 15-20 min walk.

This is a very nice hotel in Sitges. Close to the beach and restaurants. Nice rooms, not so modern but very clean. The swimmingpool was ok, but a little small. The breakfast was ok, and the restaurant have very good food.

What a wonderful hotel. Loved all the outstanding artwork on display too.

Our room had an incredible view facing the sea. Breakfast brunch was excellent. The fellow at the desk was very cordial and helpful and the lady who gave us a tour was very pleasant. Would stay again at this hotel for sure. Weather in September was perfect.

I've just returned from a business conference at this hotel. The location and views of this hotel are just great. The paintings and sculptures throughout the hotel were incredible and added such a different atmosphere to the hotel compared to most. The staff were very willing to assist wherever they could and the food and food service was spectacular. Definitely a great venue for conferences and even a holiday.
