I had a brilliant time here. I did stay here 3 yrs ago. But this time was even better. Roomy beds and rooms, excellent breakfast, in great location. You can pay a deposit and get hotel parasols and beach towels. Toiletries very good. Will definitately choose this hotel again.... happy customers

This was our first time in Sitges. Hotel was recommended by a friend. Sitges is a beautiful, and classical Spanish resort, so don't expect Benidorm or Gran Canaria. Narrow streets, with most hotels only 40 to 50 bedrooms. We thought Sitges summed up 'Spain' in the traditional sense. We arrived in Barcelona Airport, and caught the train down to Sitges. 3 Euro each for the 40 mins journey. Hotel about a 15 minute walk from the station.

The Hotel is superbly located on the sea front. Check-in was efficient, and our room was on the 4th (of 5) floors. There are very few rooms overlooking the sea, so our room overlooked the pool and narrow streets at the side/rear of the hotel. The view was a bit built up, but, we tend not to spend the whole holiday looking out the hotel bedroom window! The rooms on the first floor (ground level with pool) did not, to be fair, have the best views, all had security gating covering the whole balcony area. I would request a room on least the 2nd and above floor level.
Room - large bed (Kingsized plus single bed together), high quality cotton sheets, large screen LCD TV but MTv, CNN, and BBC World only english programmes, but again who goes on holidays to watch TV! Had kettle (only tea bags and sugar supplied), plus fridge, but with supermarket in nearby street. Bathroom functional, with power shower, and supplied toiletries. We found an electrical multi-socket near the tv, and a single socket on the headboard. Rooms had safes (local deposits). Wardrobe and drawer space good. Free WiFi, but needed to get access password, daily from reception.

Breakfasts, as said in other reviews, were very good and extensive, and ran from 08.30 to 12.00. Alcoholic drinks such as Cava, Vodka and Orange, Bloody Mary's were free, fruit juice (from machine) and coffee (from machine), bacon, scrambled, boiled and fried eggs, then continential food, cheese, meats, salmon, then sweet dishes, i.e. jelly, custards etc. Large selection of breads were provided. The hotel had a set evening meal for residents for 14 euro which was good for three courses. The 'hidden gem' is the roof top (5th floor) bar. Part outside on a large balcony, part indoors. The outside area has a panaramic view over the beach and sea, and towards the Church on the harbourside. Lovely way to start or end a night! The bar prices were better then the bars and clubs in the area. Sitges has a massive array of restaurants, bars, clubs - literally something for everyone. Sitges is a 'gay travellers destination' so a lot of gay visability, in the beach (gay area), and (gay) bars and clubs.

It is expensive to eat and drink here. In the bars/clubs expect to pay 3.50 euro for a beer, and 7 euro for a spirit and soft drink. Most main meals worked out to be 12 to 25 euros.

However, all in all we thought the hotel and resort to be fantastic. We will return.

The location of this hotel but note that there is a lot of construction work outside. And if you get a noisy room you are most likely stuck with it as the front desk (/or manager) doesn’t like that people change rooms.

If you are travelling with kids note that there are a lot of steps to some of the rooms. The rooms are very sparsely equipped. I don’t think I’ve been to any hotel room so sparsely equipped. It only had one electricity socket (that we could find), no bin and only roof lightening. Hence the lights are off or very bright.

We had the impression that most rooms had balcony, which they don’t. As there wasn’t any bed-light s that was a problem travelling with a baby as we could only be in the room for sleeping after the baby’s bedtime.

We made the front desk aware of this and asked if we could change room. That turned out to be impossible but we were asked to come back the next morning, fine. We asked if they had a lamp we could borrow but they didn’t. We kept close to the hotel during the next morning and enjoyed their great breakfast. Great, but really over the top for a hotel with so many flaws. I would rather have a lamp than vodka-orangejuice for breakfast.
The pool area is a nice break if you want to relax a bit and don’t want to go to the beach. Too overgrown so you have to move with the sun but still nice.

Story repeats itself when we ask again to change room. They hadn’t forgotten and had checked and it was impossible. As told, we came back later asking and see several people checking out and in. In the evening we say we have to change or will check out the next morning.

The next morning we are again told that it won’t work and pack to move to another hotel. As we exit our room we see our neighbors also on their way to check out. They had balcony but that was obviously not for us.

We stayed at two other hotels in town later on and would rate them both much better value.

Just returned from my holidays. Stayed 6 nights. This is a fantastic hotel. Arrived around 1pm.
Check in - took a few mins. friendly staff.
Room. we had a room over the back of the hotel. pool view. Most the rooms, if not all have a balcony. It was clean and large with 3 single beds. lots of large mirrors and lights. very quiet. nice quiet aircon. can get really cold if set at high speed. My friends described the 1st night as a siberian winter when the aircon was set at high speed. There's a flat screen TV and kettle.
Bathroom - really nice rain forest shower. large mirror and good lighting. wall attached hair dryer.
The pool has a jacuzzi bit. The sun will only get the pool area and the back of the hotel rooms around 3-4pm.
The free wifi internet was a bit slow. The password only last 24 hours. and only valid for one computer/iphone.
The restaurant offers a special deal for the guest at €14 each person and the menu changes on daily basis. The food was fantastic. 3 courses. excellent service.
Breakfast buffet was really good. lots of hot and cold food. too much selection. last until 12 noon.
The rooftop bar was a heaven.. we were only there at night. nice cool breeze from the beach. lots of nice seating area. fab service from the bar lady.
Location is the best. facing the beach. close to the bars and restaurant but not so close that it's a noisy place.
I would definitely come back to this hotel again.

Stayed here 2 years ago and was not too impressed but because of the great location we decided to give it another try. Check in was much better by the same receptionist and was much friendlier and welcoming. After paying for a balcony last time and being given the privilaged view of the neighbours kitchen, we opted this time for a basic room minus the balcony and we were given one of the few rooms that over looked the sea and promenade. Room was of a very good standard and comfortable. The room cleaned daily and towels changed if required. Breakfast was much improved with more choice. Little extras like beach towels that were offered with a refundable deposit and changed for clean ones as often as requested were a nice touch so all in all we were glad we gave it a second chance. The only down side to this hotel is sadly the paper thin walls. We could hear everything from the adjoinig room including unfortunately their visits to the loo. We had a change of "neighbours" to the adjoining room 3 times during our stay and 2 of the 3 were extremely noisy between the hours of 2 - 4 in the small hours of the morning which woke us up and I am sure other guests too. I appreciate this can happen in the best of hotels but we feel the paper thin walls added to the problem, however I would still recommend this hotel if you do not mind noise.

We choose this hotel for the location, pool and good reviews! It lived up to all of these and we were very happy. The room was large and quite new, with a massive mirror to make it look bright. Our balcony looked over the rear of the hotel and was a relaxing place to unwind. The bathroom was a wetroom with a shower shooting water wherever it was needed! So many jets! It was clean and exactly what we needed. The maids were good if rather slow! They always cleaned but one day it was 5pm! They chatted and smiled and when you are on holiday I dont think this mattered! The breakfast was so much.... the choice was massive and far more than they really needed to do. There was something for everyone and it was till late morning so you dont need to get up early! The roof bar was cheap and the service excellent. They could do so much more with this area if you could order food and eat it upstairs. The resturant was of a very high quality and if you stay you get a big reduction (14euro for a 3 course meal when we were there) This was such good value and the food was excellent. The pool had sun for most of the day and it was good not to have to go to the beach everyday. We stayed for 8 nights and our only moan was the noise at night when we tried to have an early night. The local bars are loud and the noise travelled but this is such a small thing if you are out most of the time! I would definately return here.
