Description: The restaurant La Nina offers an exclusive and elegant while welcoming in a unique setting. The menu, prepared exclusively with fresh products, offers a variety of starters, succulent fish and meats, different types of rice, and some delicious desserts which we like to highlight the specialty of the house, our thin apple tart with vanilla ice cream elaborated upon, a pleasure to end an evening that probably conquer your senses. The restaurant La Nina will be open from April to October with cooking uninterrupted schedule.

This is essentially the same restaurant as Santa Maria. However it is more relaxing. The food is the same the tables are bigger and the service is less rushed. Order the Seafood Paella for two. You will be in Spanish Heaven!

We picked this restaurant based on the menu choices. Sat down and were ignored. After trying to get the waitresses attention for 15 minutes she finally put knives and forks on our table and I asked for two beers. This was ignored.

(It eventually became clear that (a) she didn't want to be a waitress and (b) that the restaurant was woefully understaffed)

But as it was late we decided to wait a little longer. The head waiter appeared after a further 10 minutes and asked if he could take our order, which he did. We asked for two beers which arrived 10 minutes later.

By this time we were committed. A further 35 minutes and repeated attempted to get some service we were told that the food would be there "soon" and 10 minutes later a totally unappetising plate of soggy cold vegetables on toast arrived (the was the starter "roast vegetables"). Having engaged in conversation with some fellow diners we found that their main course had arrived some 2 hours after they sat down. So about an hour and 20 minutes after arriving we told the head waiter (who had just appeared) that as it was too late for us to wait for the main course.

He returned 10 minutes later and told us we would not be charged for the starter or the beer. Given the circumstances I would probably have refused to pay in any event.

We eat elsewhere for the remainder of our week's stay.
