This hotel was a disappointment from the beginning. It is located far (according to google maps: 4,1 km - 10 mins by car - 50 mins on foot) from downtown in a depressing enclave of other dreary high-rise chain hotels with views on one side of the freeway, on the other of a geriatric community. The look of the hotel is straight-up "weary business man" - cheerless and gray. Upon entering our room, we found a welcome plate of fruit, meat and cheese that had clearly been sitting there a couple of days, as it was covered in mold (see photo). I was so surprised, that at first I thought it was abstract art. The electronic amenities were pretty old-school (there was even a 90's era boom box). Bathroom and bed okay, but overall the furnishings were rather tired, and after the moldy antipasto platter, I felt as though there were a certain unsanitary film over everything in the room. Front desk was fairly friendly and English-speaking, but when we informed them in a non-aggressive way of the platter, they just said, "ok, we will remove it," without apology. We had planned to stay 2 days, but cancelled the second night. As were were pretty tired after canoeing for 3 hours on the Rio Sella earlier in the day, we ordered room service, which was prompt, but not very good. We also used the business center to find another hotel, though not in La Coruna, which we found depressing, granted probably due to the inclement weather, and found that the computers were old and slow. I can usually find a few positive things to say about a hotel, especially a mid-tier one like Attica 21, but I got nothin'. Overall: yuck and bleh.

Very beatiful hotel!
Entrance hall, rooms hall, very stylish! It's a business hotel, but with lots of charm. We got there because my wife had to go to Couña's University, so its very close, but, it's 5 minutes from the center. Some people go to the Riazor because it's infront of the beach, but it's a 3 stars, and the price is the same. I wouldn't change. Very clean, rooms well decorated (pitty they didn't have an LCD, but, that's not a problem!)
We were impressed with the hotel.
Recomended.
