“Great for lunch”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

We had lunch there during our trip to Santiago de Compostela. The tapas were great and you could see them all displayed and for me being coeliac I knew what I was having. Great choice. Convenient on the Rua Franco. Very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

“Excellent Pintxos/Tapas with great service”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who had just done El Camino de Santiago. There were 6 of us and we had a bit of a wait at the bar until a table became available. This gave us an excellent opportunity to watch all the plates of food coming out of the kitchen - everything looked amazing. So after sitting down we were pretty confident in letting the waitress just bring us whatever she though was the best on the day. No disappointment whatsoever, everything was awesome and the service fast and efficient. We went back to our hotel very satisfied! This would be my first port of call for a great meal in Santiago de Compostela.

“Excellent find on a rainy day”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

Santiago is such an interesting quirky town and we enjoyed just wandering round the little streets and admiring the amazing cathedral and al the beautiful old buildings. This was the last day of our holiday and we wanted to enjoy some tapas. There's lots of restaurants to choose from and the reason we chose this one was the fact that the tapas was beautifully displayed. Like many tourists, our Spanish is limited but we needn't have worried anyway because our waiter spoke perfect English and was able to explain all the tapas in detail. They were all just delicious and were complemented by the local Galician white wine. We're not fans of white wine but I must say this one is excellent. The whole place was scruptuously clean, the staff chatty and friendly and we were served very quickly. The worst thing about it was that we had to leave and brave the rain to get the coach back to our ship as we would have been happy to sit there all afternoon!!!

“Tapaaas”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

If you want to taste delicious tapas this is the place! I went there twice. The only bad thing is that it's always so full of people and I had to wait 20 mins to get a table! Anyway here tapas look good and taste much better than their aspect

“Worth the effort”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

An amazing restaurant with amazing food. Only problem was our Spanish is very poor. We muddled through the menu and still had a great meal. Think we were unlucky with our waiter because the others spoke better English, but that fault is down to us, as we should understand the language of the country we visit not the other way around! Went back tonight for a drink and were treated like celebrities because we had returned a night later. Lovely staff, great food and a credit to them that they haven't produced an English menu.
