The fresh produce market within the old city is worth a visit. The 10 hallways are divided up into meat, fish and vegetables and fruit where locals sell their produce.
Best feature is the restaurant at the end of the hallways where you can have your selected-and-paid-for meat or fish cooked, and sit and eat with wine and bread. Was wonderful sitting in the sun eating fresh clams, prawns and salmon. The instructions on how to do this are all in Spanish which limits non-Spanish speaking tourists.
