“Exceeded All Our Expectations for a 3 Star Hotel”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

I won't repeat all the previous positive comments about the location, staff, cleanliness, breakfast, etc. We agree with them entirely. Tripadvisor reports led us to this hotel, and we were not disappointed. We had a 4 night stay in a junior suite which was a corner suite and very large, well laid out, and supremely functional. This time of year the air conditioning wasn't on yet, so it was wonderful to have 4 doors opening to a private wrap around deck with cross ventilation. We like a cold sleeping room, and we couldn't have asked for more. There was plenty of space.

The sitting room had a large desk set up with a particularly comfortable contemporary chair. The sofa was comfortable and the lighting was terrific--lots of options for bright lighting to read and subtle lighting as well. There were surfaces upon which to lay things in addition to the desk. The bedroom was large with excellent bedside lamps and ample closet and storage space. We were so comfortable here.

We enjoyed sitting on the deck although there wasn't really any view. Even with the windows open at night the area was quiet, and we slept very well.

We had no trouble with the wifi and used it extensively every day. We liked being within easy walking distance of so many restaurants.

While we are not likely to visit Vigo again, we would love to transport this hotel to cities where we do spend a lot of time.

I highly recomend thid small and beautiful hotel. Every time i go to Vigo there is no dought in my mind about were to stay. The staff is great, super friendly, the rooms are beautifully decorated, with smart tv and wifi for free. It's right in the heart of Vigo's downtown, so you dont have to drive much to visit around. 3 min walk to the cruises peer. I can call it my house in Vigo.

This is a very decent hotel with rooms with all facilities you'd expect. Modern, clean. Breakfast is good. Wifi worked. Staff were very helpful on arrival. Location is unbeatable in Vigo. Mere seconds from old town, from harbour with boats to Islands and beaches, and shopping district. Parking was close and reasonably priced, and you can drop your bags in a parking bay right outside hotel which is helpful.

This is a very modern and stylish hotel in the centre of Vigo, well placed for exploring the city. Our room was huge - big, comfortable bed and large modern bathroom, all sparkling clean. Working out how to turn the many lights on and off took a while but we got there in the end! The breakfast, included in our rate, was excellent and the service from all the staff we came in contact with was pleasant and efficient. Best of all we had a prebooked rate of 89 euros a night (£76) including breakfast - excellent value.

My second visit in 3 months and just as good the second time. The receptionists really are most welcoming and the rooms very snazzy. I am writing another review as I had left my phone charger on my previous visit. It appeared at reception for me the first morning after breakfast. Now that really impressed me. Thanks again.

This hotel is ok, and you get what you expect from a 3 star. The fact that everything is black and shiny doesn't make it any more than that.

It's a good location for central Vigo, although parking and driving in the centre of town are a nightmare. The hotel has an 'arrangement' with a nearby parking but it worked out cheaper for me to arrange to ticket directly with the parking reception as I was there for a long stay.

The room is ok, but missing a few comforts. The wifi drove me mental for 3 weeks, disconnecting every hour and requiring the password to be re-entered. This included while actually being online, so not great when you're in the middle of a call.

The food wasn't bad, but I had room sevice a couple of times and the food was cold. There's a good choice of cold items at breakfast and they'll cook you up some eggs, but it's shame about the stale bread hanging around.

The receptionists and other staff were always very helpful and friendly. I think it's a decent enough hotel, but nothing special despite the shininess.

I had a very pleasant 4 night stay in a very modern hotel. It is black and glass with subtle uplighters in the corridors when you exit the lifts. Receptionists are all most helpful. The cleanliness is impressive, rooms very smart and clean towels daily. Breakfast is limited to fried or scrambled eggs in the "hot" department, otherwise cold meats, cheese, cerials, bread etc. The hotel is very quiet and in a great location if you want the harbour / old town. Surrounded by restaurants - tapas bars. Only 25 minutes from the airport by taxi (22 euros). I would go back again.
