This is not a very large hotel located very near the Vigo Harbour in the pleasent Plaza de Compostela. The hotel is very well located and there are several places to eat around it. The old center and the harbour are located at walking distance.
The staff is friendly and helpfull: the AC was not working and our room was changed quickly.
This is a stylish and modern hotel and the room size is nice and the bathoroom has a bathtub and also a shower. In the hotel there is lack of common spaces though, only the bar and the restaurant at the ground floor.
The spa is not too big but the pools are located in the top floor offering a wonderfull city view while you enjoy the water therapy. The spa use is not included if you book only the room.
The breakfast is good but maybe it could be a little better as it is expensive.
The main problem is parking the car: there is an hotel park but it costs 16€/day. This is the price of most of the car parks in this area. It is almost impossible to park in the street.
In conclusion: you would get much more luxury in a 5 star hotel in Portugal, for example. Nevertheless it is a very nice hotel for a winter break.

Room Tip: The rooms facing Plaza Compostela have a better view.

Loved the styling, design of the room and ambience!!!! Great staff and all round great place. Small things - mind your fingers on the glass bathroom door, it nearly took mine off when I wasn't quite awake and did not see the door automatically slamming close. Very noisy airconditioning which you need on even in winter as there seems no normal forced ventilation. Fab terrace and bar and gorgeous location, will come again if I get a chance.

Room Tip: Had a street front fourth floor room.

We found Gran Nagari through Jetsetter and it exceeded expectations all around. The service is incredible – some of the most helpful, friendly staff I’ve encountered in my travels. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Great jazz bar with music downstairs and a good breakfast with lots of options. Gran Nagari is also as central as you can get in Vigo, walking distance to the harbor and many good restaurants in the area. If you are going to Vigo, I recommend staying here and taking a day trip to the Cies Islands, boats leave every hour from the nearby harbor.
