I was told by a friend to visit Roys Cod Place, as it does the best fish and chips.....so I went with 2 friends, we sat outside as it was a nice day. It took a while for us to get noticed by the staff but ok it was lunch time and busy. We ordered drinks and looked over the menus, our drinks come in cans but we were given glasses that looked old, worn and dirty so we opted to drink from the cans instead. We all ordered fish and chips and when the food arrived I was unsure if I could eat it as the plates were chipped and looked well used....The food was greasy, tasted bland and we all left more than half....the cultery old and worn.....it was not a nice experience and for fish and chips it's quite expensive especially if you have a large fish, the staff are not in any sort of uniform and to be honest on a whole - nothing seemed that clean.........I defiantly will not go again
