Located just outside the City Wall, this is a well kept, shady cemetery which contains the graves of some of the sailors who were wounded at the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar and who subsequently died of their wounds at Gibraltar.

This cemetery which is just outside Ragged Staff Gates contains the graves of sailors who fell at Trafalgar and just afterwards. There is a list by the gate of the graves if you think you may have a ancestor buried here. They are doing some restoration in the area making it a pleasant experience. Be aware that there is a troupe of 15 apes who visit this area.

Been round the cemetery before and they appear to be doing some work to restore the gardens. If you love history.....go see it.

Its small and free and offers some peace at the end of Main Street. Situated near the South Wall just before you get to the Cable Car station this commemorates the battle of Trafalgar after which Nelson's fleet put in at Gibraltar. Well worth a little quiet time and reflection.

This is a hidden gem and a national treasure. Ok, first, if you are of the Jeremy Kyle ilk or xbox generation walking around a graveyard may not be your thing. If you have an interest in things and an enquiring mind then maybe it is.

Not all graves are from trafalgar but some are. Even the ones that aren't have amazing inscriptions and some fascinating drawings on them, find the steps to the locked exit and marvel at the gravestones there, with their inscriptions and truly bizarre (to us) drawings on them. This is skull and crossbones territory!

This is also a lovely shaded peaceful (as you can get here) garden.
