“Simple and Confortable”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

Nothing special, it is simple, comfortable, the Bathroom shows the "age" of the Hotel but it has been kept nice, clean and tidy. The best is the location. Very close to "El Laurel" and it's possible to go there on foot to enjoy the best local wines and tapas.

Room Tip: Inner rooms are more silent than front ones.

I appreciated staying here for a number of reasons. It was only a 10 min walk to the fun loving tapas pedestrian neighborhood . What a place! Lovely! Walking and order taps and wine in the numerous restaurants lining the streets was great fun! The hotel was clean, which is very important to me. It was a purely business style hotel – basic and clean, but solid in what it offered. It doesn’t have character – it’s a chain, so quite non-descript. The free water and apples available in the fridges on each floor was a nice touch. The parking lot was available under the hotel for ~ 14 euros – narrow but we made it! I appreciated this place.

Room 407---Comfy mattress, good wifi signal, large room, air conditioner worked well, clean, really friendly front desk staff especially considering they were dealing with two different wedding parties for the same night. Ask front desk staff how to work television as it is unusual the way it is powered on. Hotel even provides bottles of cold water and apples in a fridge on each floor.
Great location near bus station and less than 10 minutes to historic center.

First of all, the location is good; great if you plan to use Logrono as a base for lots of trips from the brand new, groovy futuristic train station or the older, more traditional bus station, both very close.
Hotel is very close to a medium-size supermarket: handy, but closed all day Sunday.
Location also great for lots of neighbourhood cafes used by locals where you can practise your Spanish. Right next door is Donde Lucho, a Colombian bar, which is great for the evenings. Nearby, round the corner, is Café Sol, run by two local sisters, which is great for a very friendly value breakfast of coffee, freshly-squeezed orange juice and a croissant or pastry. In fact, we tried several of these bars at different times and we enjoyed each one, so give them a go.
However, do NOT miss out on experiencing the fantastic food and wine available in the Old Town, especially via tapas in the Calle Laurel area, a 10-minute stroll from the hotel.
Speaking of which, apologies: back to the venue review.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
Hotel is a bit faded and slightly shabby, especially in the bathroom, decorated in a dingy grey, which really got my usually genial wife's goat. (It is my wife who is generally genial, not her metaphorical goat, by the way.)
Room was clean and spacious with big windows, letting in lots of light.
No fridge/minibar and no safe. You can leave valuables at Reception in their safe, but not really convenient for us.
Lovely touch to fill fridges on each floor daily with water and apples, although they emptied out quickly.
Hotel is on the itinerary for Spanish bus tours, which means lots of Spanish guests: bonus for us, as we like practising the language.
TV has lots of satellite channels in various languages but no English at all - not even news.

Room Tip: We opted for a front-facing room, overlooking the park. Wee bit noisy but great to watch the locals...

I paid 45 euros per night in this hotel. Rooms are big and clean. The lobby was really nice too. The location is fine: 8 minutes away from the center and 5 minutes away from the bus station.
There is a fridge in the hall at every ground. It should have been filed with fruits and water but it wasn't the case. This is the only "bemol". Anyway, you can get water at the reception. I strongly recommand this hotel. Have a nice stay!

It is a good hotel, 5-10 min away by foot from the heart of Logroño. A supermarket at the corner allows you to skip the proposed breakfast and spare some money. The hotel offers free bottles of fresh water and apples, which is very nice.
A bit noisy: you can hear very well the corridor conversations.

Location. The location is fine, but not great. The hotel is three or four blocks from the center of town. It faces a nice, family park. The neighborhood is a moderately upscale retail shopping area. The camino is approx one km away but easy to get to.

Ambience: There isn’t much. It’s a big modern, prosaic hotel. Nothing to distinguish it.

Rooms: Rooms are very large by Camino standards with a large bathroom. Separate tub and water closet. The bed was queen size. The room was very clean and modern. The room is the best part of this hotel.

Value: At 59E it was a very good value.

Service: Not bad but not great. People were not rude, but also were not overtly friendly.
When asked questions, they got the job done. They have complimentary apples and water on each floor, but get them the night before you leave.
