“Centrally located , comfortable rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2014

This is an ideal hotel to reserve when visiting Logroño , it's an easy stroll from the historic centre and the aclaimed Laurel "tapa" street. It overlooks the Ebro river and park. The rooms are comfortable and its not in a noisy area so you can have a good night's sleep.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which over look the river 213 or similar.

At 50€ for a twin room this hotel was perfectly fine, and appeared to be well equipped. My room was 218 and faced the back street which I didn't mind however if you are staying longer you might prefer one of the rooms to the front of the hotel which offer lovely views. The foyer of the hotel is an atrium and the rooms all come off this which does make it a little noisy but I found once the inner door of my room was shut it didn't bother me. The only thing that did was. Couple arguing at 5.15am! I'm not sure if they were outside or in the hotel but it was certainly very audible. I didn't eat breakfast here but it was 9e50 and on a Sunday only served from 7.30am. There was a sign up offering pilgrim massages in the hotel which was a good idea. Overall, clean and pleasant hotel, I'd stay again but I would also consider something different in the town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front to take advantage of the views.

We found this hotel by chance (I would say luck!!) when arriving late in Logrono without having booked in advance... and it was a very good surprise indeed.. walking distance to the historical Centre with lots of bars and restaurants, very clean, tasteful decoration, comfortable bed, friendly staff.. all you need.. and for a reasonable fare compared to other hotels we had tried before in the area.. We love the Rioja area and will certainly come again!

I stayed here after walking on the camino from Viana I wanted a nice quiet night with a bath tub to sooth my aching knees, ankles and feet. I was not disappointed, there was lots of hot water and a nice big tub. the room was very clean and the bed very comfy. I found it a bit stuffy, but I just opened the window and it cooled off the aircon seemed to be blowing hot air for some reason. My only complaint was that the restaurant was not open on Sunday, when I checked in it was open but when I eventually went downstairs it closed. The breakfast was pretty good though, it was expensive but expansive with lots of choices and very friendly service. I was sent here by the nice ladies at the camino information centre on the bridge. These ladies just about bent over backwards to be of assistance. The hotel is right on the camino the path goes by the front door!

i spent 4 nights here on a saga trip and the staff were all amzing. the hotel is ideally located for the science park, riverside walks, tapas bars and shopping.

the hotel gives one a booklet called "the laurels" with the location of tapas bars and an idea of the type of food they serve so that you can choose where to go beforehand for your ideal experience.

the whole hotel was like an oven. apparently the air con only comes on when the outside temp falls and having one of the rooms with the clanking plates on the street outside, the noise was a bit of an issue because of having to have the windows open all night - then the mozzies all came in and bit me to shreds. the staff immediately sprayed my room and did do something about the air-con so the last two nights were much more comfortable.

i went down to the gym which was so baking hot so sadly it was unusable therefore went for early morning walks by the river and witnessed a couple of stunning sunrises.

breakfast was good and the dinners excellent. servings of alcohol in the bar were generous and fairly inexpensive.

it is a good hotel for a short stay.

Room Tip: avoid rooms overlooking the narrow clanking-plated side street.

I spent 4 nights here in late October. Friendly, helpful staff and my room was lovely, facing little streets at the back of the hotel. Renovation work is gradually being done to the streets, which have large metal sheets laid down on them: this does cause a bit of noise when cars drive over them, but unless you are very noise sensitive, it shouldn't be a problem. Food was good, with care being taken to provide vegetarian alternatives when requested. The bar was a bit disappointing; a bit cafeteria-like and with a very limited bar menu, but as always, there are plenty of good cafes and bars in the town

Room Tip: I'd always recommend asking when booking, as with all hotels, rooms vary a lot and everyone'...

Excellent three stars hotel in Logroño. Our room was quiet, even though it was holiday season. Breakfast is far better than in most hotels of this size. The location is excellent if you are planning to see old town, and famous restaurant street Calle de Laurel is not too far away. Also, if you are interested in wineries, Bodegas Franco-Españolas is only a walk away, just across the bridge, and Viña Ijalba 1,5 kilometers away (round 6 euros with taxi).
