“Good Business Hotel”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

The Eurostars Tower is well located if you need to be close to the airport (yet still be in Madrid), and relatively close to Chamartin station. It's not ideally located for central Madrid.

The hotel is always a bit dark somehow (you have to squint in the elevator to see your floor), but the rooms are spotless, modern, very nice bathroom (all dark), and a great lighting system.

The bar serves great snacks and delicious cold beer, but have never been to the restaurant. Locally, not a great choice of restaurants that are immediately evident, but this is Madrid, so I'm sure some gems are to be found, with a little local knowledge.

Check-in, check-out and general service is swift and friendly

Great hotel - service and rooms very good. Only thing I would fault is location - it's a 10-15 minute taxi ride into the centre (longer at peak times) which although cheap and cabs are plentiful is not ideal. Great if you are working close by.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel the day before he left for the USA while visiting me in Spain. I wanted to stay close to the airport since he had to catch an early flight. The late night room service was great for dinner and drinks. The very of Madrid was great to look at during the night and waking up early in the morning. We were both very comfortable there after traveling a few hours. The buffet wasn't the best but I was expecting more the American buffet instead.

Welcome to Spain.

The only problem we had getting to the hotel was finding the parking which was located in the underground tunnel. I would take note of that the next time staying at the hotel.

I've stayed here twice in the last month while attending an event in Madrid and found it to be excellent. The service was really very good and the room had everything you could possibly need including a fabulous view.

The hotel in not centrally located, it's a little out of town in a predominately business area. The taxi journey from central Madrid was around €16 though be warned the traffic into Madrid at peak times is just awful.

The hotel does seem to be geared towards business use as it has a very masculine feel to the decor. There is lots of dark walnut wood and black tiling which although very modern feels a little too dark and oppressive in places.

The room was great and the bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds i've had in a while but the room felt just a little too dark, there was no unobstructed full length mirror and the lighting in the bathroom meant that applying make up and not looking like you'd over done it was a gargantuan challenge. What it gained in luxurious feeling it lost a little in practicality.

Having said that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if i'm in Madrid.

I stayed in this hotel on a work trip. The room was very nice, with a great view. The staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent English. The buffet breakfast was very good as was the bar food. The only thing missing was a swimming pool which would have been very welcome on a warm Madrid day. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from a metro station from where the city can be reached in about half an hour.

The hotel is a very nice design, the rooms are very modern and comfortable at the same time. Would recommend anytime to stay at this hotel.
Only reason for not giving this full rating is the location - it's between airport and downtown, so not bad - but a little bit too far outside of the city (about 20min cab ride) to be the perfect location for a short vacation to Madrid.

Not wanting to stay right beside the station, this is a great alternative, but allow some 30 mins for the walk. Polite staff and great tapas and wine from the bar downstairs. Good views over the city. But peregrinos travelling to Leon via Chamartin beware, we did stick out like sore thumbs with our travel wear and heavy backpacks amidst the other suits checking in :)

Room Tip: the higher the better the view.
