This is a great little tapas bar which is almost a restaurant given it offers tables to sit at as well as the bar side experience. It is small, the decor rustic and like all good real Spanish tapas bars, very noisy when it is in full swing but isn't this what we are really wanting to experience whilst in Spain? The food is really good without being anything like fine dining and nor should it be trying to be. There is a wide range to choose from and several choices of the size of serves. After enjoying the complimentary welcoming tapas dish we shared a salad, one tapas dish and a serve of paella which together with a bottle of wine made for a very satisfying amount of food for the two of us. The salad was simple but very sharp and absolutely fresh, the paella excellent value for €7 and the white anchovies on toast - well they were divine. The service was great, the menu was in English and Spanish and the vibe brilliant and as for the cost - who can complain about €14 for the food. Loved it.

I went with my boyfriend to have dinner at La Soberbia on September 11th. We ate tortilla and callamaris. It was delicious but after 4hour time we started to feel sick. To resume, we were infected by Salmonela bacteria propably by the eggs from the tortilla. We almost died in Madrid since they treated it as a virus. So on September 14th we got back to Lisbon (in very bad health conditions), were since them we've been treated properly and we must leave the hospital by the end of the day.
We would like to share this important information and find out if some other people could have had the same problem we had.

This was our third of fourth visit to this little gem near Puerta del Sol and it has, thankfully, not changed a bit. A friendly welcome and rustic surroundings create a great charm. We have only been in for a drink but the free tapas with each drink have been quite substantial in themselves.
Very good value in authentic surroundings.

After seeing reviews on here we went and checked it out and we were not disappointed. When we sat down we were given little red sausages which were delicious. We also ordered paella and a couple of other things. The paella was great as was our whole meal including the sangria. It was great little place and we were given a complementary shot of something as we paid.

Not a place for a quiet romantic dinner but there appeared to quite a few locals there and it was great night.

Good food, friendly and fast service and rough atmosphere. We had paella, meat with cheese and mustard and meatballs. All tasty, really well cooked and finely flavored. Prices are reasonable. The place is slightly hard to find, but it´s worth of searching.
