“Overpriced and small portions”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2012

The restaurant looks good like 101 other similar themed restaurants, and the menu is what you would expect in such a place, but the portions are small and overpriced.
Go elsewhere - you will probably find the same menu cheaper without having to go too far....

“Good food and a nice atmosphere at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2012

This is very much a meat restaurant chain. It is decorated with cinema posters, old-style cameras, etc. Definitely a nice atmosphere and, if you like meat and burgers, decent food at a reasonable price and well worth visiting.

“Very good (American Food)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 January 2012

This is the spaniard version of Friday's/Applebees/Chilis/Tony Romas/... I'd say anything you order can be a safe choice, since the menu is quite standard, and yet with quite a selection, including tex-mex food. During weekdays, they have great lunch menus at a very low two figure price, including entree, main dish, beverage (no refill in this case) and dessert/coffee.

I've been here many times, and will come back for sure :).

“God awful, do not go”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 October 2011

Just come back from Spain and thought I would write a review about Foster's Hollywood in Ondara (near Denia) as a warning to anyone enticed by the idea of American food in Spain (as the advert says). You would think a company that has been going since 1971 would have an idea about the food but sadly for me and my pocket this was not the case.
I took and wife and parents (who live in Spain) there as a last night treat for something difference to the usual Spanish food.
Rahter than bore you with the list of what we had I thought I would just list what was wrong.
Onion rings - Cold, uncooked yet over fried
Chicken wings - cold, dry, small
BBQ sauce - bland, cold
Coleslaw - tasteless, watery (more like soup)
Chili Con Carne - An utter joke. A small boul of mince. No heat, no beans, sweat as If the sauce was ketchup. This went back to much huffing and annoyance of the staff.
Ribs - Cajan (for the adventurous!!) and Honey glaze. Cold, tasteless
Salmon - Small, over boiled. 3/4 left as it was inedible
The replacement burger for the Chili - cheap, hot !, boring sauce
Chips - cold

The main meals came before we had finished the starters and they insisted on trying to squeeze them onto an already busy table.

By far the worst "Americcan" restaurant I have ever visited and frankly unbelievable that they have been going 40 years. An utter waste of €80 and much apologising to my parents for taking them to there.

Shame really as the building looked good and we were full of expectation when we entered.
