You can't beat the location of the Prado apartments, as they are within a very short walk of the Prado and other galleries .... a slightly longer walk to the train station ........and a moderately longer walk to shopping, cafes, and the Palace. It's not on a main street, so it's quite quiet, especially the "C" apartments as they face the rear of the building. We did have one night of quite a bit of noise from another tenant in the building, however since this is not a hotel, there is very little recourse.
The apartment was very well-equipped and well-furnished, with the exception of the master bed, which was rather small (not even sure if that bed was a double). We had one hiccup trying to get into the place at first, as the code had not be correctly set up. But a phone call to the manager/owner fixed it, and got us into the apartment.
There is strong wifi here. This apartment was very clean, and quite comfortable. We used the fold-out sofa to sleep an extra person. There was an elevator, and streets were safe and clean in this neighbourhood.More
