We booked for 7 nights through Booking.Com but checked out before the first night because of the noise in the room from the 3 lifts situated behind our bedroom wall.
The apartment block is very nice but it became obvious to us that the 2 apartments let through Booking.com were both next to the 3 liftshafts and the noise was unbearable. We tried unsuccessfully to change our room with the Reception and we contacted Booking .com. They were told that they only had 2 rooms to rent and that they were both in the same position on different floors and both were equally noisy. I mean like a tram car rolling next to your bedroom wall every few minutes .
Obviously, these few rooms next to the lifts were rented out by their owners because they were not fit for residential occupancy . We left before our first night and checked into a hotel but were still forced to pay for one night.
