My husband and I really wanted to try authentic paella we were recommended by the hotel we were staying with, (although they were going on a recommendation by a previous guest) I booked a table for 21.30 as most of madrid eats quite later so thought there would be a good mix of customers we arrived a little early and we were seated straight away there was no other customers (no other customers arrived while we were there we left at about 22.30
We both ordered the chicken and seafood one , it turned up with 2 chicken drumsticks , 2 mussels , and 2 prawns lots of tasteless rice with lots of white and green beans overcooked and tasteless.
House wine 1/2 a bottle was a Rioja 2012 I thought Rioja had to be 3 years old ??
We paid the very expensive bill €72 euros and left terrible meal
