The Radisson Blu Madrid is in "Old Madrid" across the street from the Prado Museum and three blocks away from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. The standard room is a bit small but serviceable, no real bar to speak of but there are plenty in the neighborhood so no issues there. All in all it was very reasonably priced.

This hotel is well located for the Metro and the Prado, but you can also easily walk to many of the main tourist attractions

Rooms are small but have everything that you need for a weekend stay, including a Nespresso coffee machine. There are plenty of bars and restaurants very close by which makes for a pleasant evening strolling round and enjoying the free tapas offerings in each bar

The highlight of our trip was a visit to the Bernabeu stadium which is a must do for any football fan

Not far away from the hotel is the Reina Sofia Museum which is free at certain times - this museum houses Picasso's Guernica which is a remarkable piece of art. We also visited the Prado which was good, but you really need a plan of what you would like to see as it is too big to take everything in in one visit

If you want to take some traditional spanish ham and manchego cheese home, the Musee de Jamon will vacuum pack these items to pack in your suitcase

Surprisingly for a major city, Madrid was extremely cheap for drinks and eating out

Nice hotel , clean and very well located . While our stay there we did everything by foot. Very close to the museums, to the old squares and the shopping areas. The staff was nice and the bed very comfy.

Location is great in the center of Madrid yet rather hard to reach by public transport, specially with carrying bigger lugagge. The rooms are nicely and very modern decorated and the staff is really great overall. The breakfast room has not that many seats yet serves a great variety of food items. An absolute minor for this hotel though is the exuberant price that they charge for an extra bed in the room. For our teenager, we needed to pay 60 Euro per day for an extra bed. That is about the price of a room in most budget hotels in Madrid! 60 Euro for placing one extra bed in a room, one extra bathrobe and two minutes or less of extra effort a day to make that bed? Please, what are they thinking here? After complaining, the daily price was dropped to 30 Euro a day which still is way too high in my opinion and where it has been my experience in other hotels in Europe (and around the world) that prices normally vary from 4 to 14 Euro a day for that service, sometimes even for free. I know for sure that next time, I will look for a more child friendly hotel.

good location, near to all the sites. the plaza ouside with all´restuarants and bars are great. the neigbourhood is also great, very spanish, vinding streets etc.close to Prado. About the hotel: quirke old building, nicely decoreated, but the buisness rooms are qiute small, and if you are non spanish speaking, the only tn channel is BBC World News. Might be a bit boring if you do not like to reád your book. Breakfast was so so, not good not bad. Best thing is the location. And if you want "real spanish barrio" highly recommeded for atmosphere.

Room Tip: do opt for a buisnessclass room, though small, but you can swing a cat

Easy to find and within walking distance of most attractions. Our room was delightful with an amazing mural of Madrid on the bed and wardrobe walls. Super modern bathroom with huge walk in shower. I had booked a Seniors room was was not expecting such a great room.

I stayed at this hotel because it was free with my rewards points. Hotel is near the main train station. A little hard to find, but the location was nice. Very near a lot of most major attraction. The room was clean and very nice. Check-in was helpful and they gave me some good advice on how to use the city bus and the hop on and off bus. The only issue was bartender did not return to fix my drink late one night. The hotel is a long way from the airport. If you need a taxi, be prepared for cost was around €50. Train and bus are better options if you don’t have to be there really early. Breakfast was included.
