“Cool hotel in the narrow atmospheric streets of prado”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2011

A cool hotel right in prado. Rooms have huge prints of Madrid streets on the Walls. A bit dark... Trying to be a bit too hip. But still a bit different.

This hotel was perfect for a city break. Me and my partner are used to staying in modern, super cool hotels and this hotel did not disappoint.
Although seeing reviews about the size of the room, we were not disappointed. It was not huge but was perfectly comfortable for the both of us and the bathroom was lovely!

The staff at the hotel were very attentive and a young girl at the check in desk gave us some fabulous restaurant recommendations.

If you are looking for a very nice meal in a uber cool place....check out Rameses and midnight Rose......both awesome.

Our room was cleaned brilliantly every day.
Location is perfect.....right opposite Museo Prado and close to everywhere!

Word of advice for party animals-do not go to Pasha if you are 25 or over.....full of teenagers!

Would definitley recommend this hotel to family and friends!

This is a great little hotel located close to the Prado (major art museum). But, it's on a quiet side street, so the noise level is fine. It is also a short walk from Plaza Mejor, and a number of interesting residential neighborhoods. It's near to the railway station that serves Bracelona and Toledo. It's about a 25 minute drive from the airport, but you'll need to bring a map for taxi drivers, as ours had not heard of the hotel.

Our room (queen) was small but efficient. There wasn't a lot of room to move around, but I guess spending time in the room isn't the reason you go to Madrid!

The staff was always very helpful with directions and making dinner reservations for us. They were also always happy to get us a drink from the bar.

Was very happy with our 3-night stay at the Radisson Blu Madrid.
The location is excellent if you want to see the big 3 museums, Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia. There's also the architectural marvel that is the Caixa Forum just 2 blocks away on the main street...and that was a wonderfully unexpected bonus.

Restaurants, bars and cafes abound in the area...the streets are charming, small and cobbled. Plaza Mayor and Plaza del Sol are not too far away. It's in a great area especially since we were very interested in the museums.

We were given a room on the third floor with a charming little balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel. Great natural light came in every morning and the room, while a tad small, was charmingly laid out, had great and restful colors, excellent bed furnishings and very good and dependable free WiFi. The bathroom was large and adequate with good toiletries and towels.

I would have to say that the best part of our stay was the meticulous and warm care of a front desk person named Pablo. Not only did he recommend excellent restaurants around the area, he also managed to find us tickets for a great flamenco show. He was very warm, friendly and welcoming and it was his great hospitality that made all the difference!

It's a small and very friendly hotel in the middle of everything. The hotel is very new and fresh. Though it bears only four stars plaque it's much more stylish and convenient than many of Madrid 5-stars hotels. We stayed in an upper floor suite and loved this spacious and stylish room. Breakfasts are well enough and the staff is very helpful. We will definitely stay in the same suite in this hotel if we are back in Madrid.
