After a long morning walking around the city, we chose this restaurant for a late lunch.

It is in a part of the city where we expected high prices but the menu of the day was only 13 euros.

Food was very quickly served and of decent quality. A large group of American tourists arrived after us and seemed very happy with the food and service.

Staff were not fluent in English but they understood us and we received exactly what we ordered.

Worth a visit if you are in the area, hungry and want something quick and good value.

We wanted to eat nearby the Prado Museum, and we settled on this option. The menu was itself strange, offering a mixture of tapas and pizza/pasta. The service was terrible.

We asked for a bottle of water after ordering our meal and the waitress was very rude, "que más quieren porque tengo otras mesas!!" Which translates to :"what else do you want !? I have other tables!" We were pretty shocked! It wasn't like we were asking for something extravagant.

My boyfriend ordered the carbonara pasta which was OK, I guess.

If you're rushed and want a bite to eat after the museum...you could go here but be aware that there are hundreds of better places. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day, who knows, but it was unacceptable!

Dreadful and most unprofessional service I have ever seen! Waiters don't actually care or serve. We had to turn down one wine because it was terrible and they refused to open another bottle. Finally, they had to open the wine but smashed the bottle to our table and stopped serving us. It's not something you expect for lunch with good old friends. We had to stop our lunch and went to another place.
