“Fantastic family friendly hotel”
Reviewed 19 March 2011

My wife and I stayed here with our 7 month old baby from the 10th to 14th of March , it was our first trip with our baby and this hotel made it a very enjoyable one.
The staff were without a doubt amongst the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered( especially the girl who checked us in) , they booked a taxi to take us from the airport ( we needed one with a car seat for the little one) check in was very efficient and the cot was in our room as requested,
The room itself was spacious had a proper double bed (instead of the twin beds pushed together that you frequently get on the continent) a good sized bathroom and a kitchenette with Microvave fridge etc. we had saw mention in previous reviews that there was no kettle in the room so we brought a travel kettle with us , the girl on reception had however asked us if we needed a kettle so I assume that they will provide one if required
Location wise the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to Plaza de Espana, and about a 10-15 walk to Puerto del sol ,there is a supermarket ( opencor) and a shopping mall about a 5 minute walk away in principe pio

We needed a dozen rooms for a business group, and our secretary negotiated an excellent price for some very nice and spacious rooms -- a real deal. The view on the royal palace from the upper floor rooms is stunning. Only problem is that the street is noisy -- and as my window did not lock perfectly, you could hear the noise creeping into the room. Still, an excellent hotel, located very close to the hearth of Madrid. I will also consider it in the future for personal travel.

We completed our 50th birthday girlfriend trip through Spain in Madrid where we slept 2 nights at the Aparto Suite Jardines de Sabatini. We were extremely impressed by the helpfulness of the staff: from room selection and preference, to organising transportation to the airport or even breakfast before time as we had to leave early. The staff was genially interested in making our stay perfect, this is a rare gift. Also the apartment was really great: space, cleanliness and view wise. Finally the rate was very reasonable as well, mostly considering the big tourism conference happening in Madrid during our stay. The central location permitted us to walk to all major attractions.

A great stay, I will surely put the Aparto Suites in my good books for a further stay in Madrid. Thank you to the great staff. (NB another plus: a large room to work or relax on the main floor).

This is one of the best hotels I've been to so far in Europe. My (standard) room was very simply and elegantly appointed, with a modern feel, and came equipped with a mini-kitchen with sink and stove, as well as a table and chairs, which worked out great when I invited people over. The bathroom also had nice, modern fixtures, although the first time I turned on the shower, it sprayed water everywhere until I figured out how to switch it to the overhead faucet. Wireless internet cost extra, but it worked fine. The neighborhood's not the most exciting, but it's a 5-minute walk to the Plaza de Espana metro, so it's hard to complain.

All in all, very impressive, given the relatively low price.

My wife and I stayed here with our 10 month old daughter. First suite was "standard" which was rather shabby and smelled of smoke. We upgraded to the "deluxe" room for about 20 euros more and found it to be excellent. Clean, modern, spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's on a very busy street (almost a highway) but is in a great location and is only a few blocks away from some great places to walk around or you can grab the metro. All in all a good value and worth recommending.

Couldn't decide whether to book a hotel or a rental apartment in Madrid, and went for this Apart-hotel as a compromise. Really glad I did. The hotel still looks and feels really new, and as such there's very little to find fault with.
It might be a bit far out if you want to be in the centre of the action, but I found it ideal to be that bit quieter but still easy to get to all the sights.
It was really easy to get there from the airport on the Metro and unless you have a lot of luggage I would recommend the Metro as the quickest and cheapest way. The hotel is only about 5 mins from Plaza de Espana station.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Both checking in and out were simple and quick. Breakfast was adequate, limited choice, but what there was was absolutely fine. The room itself was extremely spacious, the small kitchen was perfect for a short stay. The bathroom was spotless, the beds firm but comfortable.
The only minor negatives I can think of are that there was no kettle in the room, which might not go down well with visitors from the UK (but there is a microwave).
And that the sound-proofing between the rooms could be better.
But all in all, I really liked this hotel, and woudln't hesitate to recomment it. It is MUCH nicer than most 3* hotels and better than many 4*'s I've stayed in.
I'd also recommend the Adventurous Appetites tapas tour (reviews on here) as it was a great introduction to the city.

It is a residence not far from Plaza de Espana, Gran Via and very close to the royal palace and its gardens. The building and the street are not nice but the residence is. The building has been nicely renovated and everything is new. A bright, large and colourful hall will welcome you. There is a large dining room for breakfast and a small reading room is at guests’ disposal. We received a two room apartment which could accommodate four people. Everything was new and fine. The small kitchen had few utensils. They are enough only for a short stay and if you don’t have many necessities.
Unfortunately wifi is not free (as expected in such a beautiful residence). It is available in your room but they charge you.
The price was really good and I highly recommend the residence.
