Not sure why this hotel is rated number third in all of Madrid. The location is okay, although the street does seem a little seedy. The staff is helpful, but there are stairs that go to the elalevator and no one offered to help withe our luggage. We had wanted a two bedroom apartment, but the hotel made a mistake and we ended up in separate apartments. The apartments are comfortable, but the bed was not. Our king bed was two single beds pushed together - very uncomfortable.
There was a locked kitchenette, but we were not given a key until we asked for it. The hallway has is curved around a center obstruction which we could not see around. Considering the lax security of the hotel, I wish there was a mirror so we could see around the obstruction.More
