I've been other times here. The residence is centrally located being a 5 minute walk from the Plaza de Espana and Gran Via. It is on a long descent between this square and Pincipe Pio Metro Station and people with mobility problems might have difficulties to walk there from both stations. Anyway if you arrive by metro, Plaza de Espana station is the best choice to reach the residence. Principe Pio station (300 metres away) has also a shopping mall with a supermarket (and restaurants) if you need something for your stay.
The lobby of the residence is large, bright and colorful with sofas to relax. A computer is available in a small reading room. The rooms are large, simply and nicely furnished with new and large bathrooms. The kitchenette is more than adequate for a short stay. Two hobs to cook simple meals, microwave, sink and kettle as well as the usual and basic cutlery and plates. The breakfast room is large and pleasant. A pleasant amenity is the solarium with an incredible view on the Royal Palace. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the view: the solarium is covered by green synthetic grass which adds a pleasant touch to the small area. The customer service showed great care for some minor complaints during my stay and I can say I was fully satisfied.

AparoSuites capped the end of a two week to Spain. Checking in was extremely easy and recommendations for visiting local sights and dining were volunteered by the Fluent English speaking desk man. We were upgraded to an apartment that was extremely space9us and provided the best 3 night's rest of our entire trip. A difficulty with the safe brought an immediate response. A return visit will definitely be in the picture.

Perfect location, specious, modern and clean rooms, great view from the roof terrace (over Royal Palace and Jardines de Sabatini), hospitable, service-minded and English-fluent staff made us want to return to this lovely hotel. Great fit for private, business and family travel!

Frequently used this hotel through 2013 and early 2014 for business stays and a private stay in Madrid. Good voucher based wifi system with a decent signal in every room I used. The breakfast is very good.

The rooms are generally enormous and if you are lucky enough to get the palace view...wonderful. The kitchenette is well equipped and if there is anything missing the front desk is more than happy to find a replacement for you. The roof terrace is fun when the weather is warmer.

Clean, good bathrooms and friendly staff.

Room Tip: Avoid the areas around elevators. The front rooms are nicest.

My wife booked this hotel for me, I currently stay in RM 72 on level 7 face trees and mountain. I love it, staffs are really nice and helpful. Roomy and clean, It was very quiet at night & daytime. From Airport to hotel by Train (not Metro) just 40mins all the way to final station Principe Pio.

A really lovely hotel and such good value. Location is excellent, located less than 5 mins stroll from the royal palace and easy walk from plaza mayor, la Latina and sol. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Modern bathrooms with large mirrors and strong rain showers over bath. We were upgraded and had a room with terrific views over the palace - recommend room 67. We did not sample any food but found it such an easy walk to mercado de San Miguel. Also gorgeous rooftop - though as only a short trip did not use as much as would have liked. I would definitely go back.
