“A vegitarian heaven !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2013

I being a non-vegetarian say that the vegetarian food there was simply awesome.

I will not miss guide you by saying that it is some exquisite cooking, but rather it is the art of simple homely cooking but with taste exploding in every bite.

This place is a must visit just to discover its cozy and colorful interiors, and to get some Spanish homely cooking.

“Veggie heaven!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2013

A value for money, pay-by-weight exclusively vegetarian buffet. Apart from the standard pasta, lasagna, paella you can have stuff like fake(veggie) hamburgers, fake caviar, etc. The croquetes were amazing. Also lots of deserts to choose from. Located at a short walking distance from the Palace and a slightly longer walk from Plaza Mayor.
The menu/buffet apparently doesn't change every night.

“Great for a quick filling veggi lunch or dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2013

The restaurant concept is good, and it was clearly visited by all ages and by locals as well as tourists. The buffet style where you pay by weight is a good idea. The range of dishes is excellent all cooked very nicely. It is very easy to eat too much.
A tip is to book a table as this place fill up.

“Great for veggies!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2013

Muy bien! A fabulous buffet, with plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes, and you only take what you want - what could be better than that? The food was delicious, and it has a nice friendly atmosphere, good music playing and you can sit outside in the sunny square. Those who complain about the service are probably expecting obsequious waiters who won't leave you alone. There's none of that, as there's no table service, but we had absolutely no complaints, and found all the staff very friendly.

Might have been a good idea to have some sort of guide about the weight, as we really had no idea how much the plateful would come to. Ended up paying about 8 or 9 euros each for a good plateful of really tasty food, which is pretty good value in the centre of Madrid. Highly recommended for veggies in Madrid.
