It is a big square where all around it is surrounded by beautiful buildings. At night the buildings are illuminated with lights of different colors, it's beautiful.

This is a beautiful square in downtown Madrid. You must visit it and you can go to the restaurant I mentioned in my last rewie. Near to it there is a very pretty building were the Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores is located.

Its a huge squarish area , with various restaurant surrounding the area. Walking distance from SOL, next to Mayor Plaza.

Beware of a specific group of people trying to Con you by giving you free bracelet, acting friendly and then asking money as donation for their family in Africa

Shops line the entire plaza ranging from hat shops to a string of cafes and restaurants. The plaza is not to be missed.

I thought it was going to be a bit more, but it is nice too see. There are tourist vendors for that type of gifts. There are photo vendors with traditional costumes to get a photo with. I wouldn't eat there as there are better restaurants outside the plaza.A great Mushroom tapas place and The oldest restaurant in the world is just outside the gate on the back street.Famous for the pig. The Mercado de San Miguel is just outside and well worth eating in the stalls there.
