Large and very impressive collection of art. Although not as amazing as the Louvre, it's still worth a visit. It's also free for students or in the last 2 hours of operation everyday.

While somewhat expensive, we enjoyed our lunch and found a good diversity of options. In our family of four, my husband chose the jamon plate and a cheese plate. The jamon was quality with a particularly fresh side of tomato. I had the pork and brie sandwich which was surprisingly tasty, and our boys shared a roast beef sandwich, bread, and apple. All were very enjoyable.

It is one of the best museums in the world and is free from 6 to 8 each night. It is a wonderful deal of students and art lovers!

There's nothing like seeing a masterpiece in the flesh and if your an art lover this is the place for you. It's free after 6pm, but get there earlier to start queuing otherwise you'll be waiting forever in the long lines. Or you can book online for a reasonable fee and save yourself all the hassle of the queues.

When we entered the museum a licensed tour guide approached us. We paid $50 for an hour tour and it was well worth it. He explained many of the key paintings, the story and history behind them, and then directed us where to go afterwards. It's a great museum and I wished I had more time to spend there.
