Stayed here for a total of 3 days (checked in, left, came back after side trip to Lisbon). The service us just awesome. The front desk is very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very busy, but both times I stayed, they gave me an upgrade, the second time to a junior suite! I have stayed in many Westin hotels but have never received upgrades until now! Tapas at their bar is just awesome, though on the small side compared to tapas in other restaurants. However, they are tapas that you are unlikely to encounter elsewhere and have a "fusion" type of cuisine. The rooms are very nice, the bathrooms are a very nice size and of course the beds are heavenly.
About 15 minute walk to center of restaurants, Gran Via, El Corte Ingles, etc. Also recommend the double decker bus tour if you only have a short time as we did. Well worth the price, and you can get on and off as you please. Kid friendly.
