This must be one of the most beautiful parks in Europe. It's a very clean and very pretty park. It has a lovely 'beach' area which consists of sun loungers and a water area with a nice little cafe next to it. The water area was perfect in the 40 degree weather we were in.
Would highly recommend you visit here.
The Madrid Rio Park is a great urban space along the Manzanares River. We loved the walk through so many neighbourhoods. The use of vegetation to help clean the water is well established and looks good. The walk is covered with special spots for exercise, to enjoy the plant life, for a nice little snack or just to get a sense of the city. Even on a hot day (35C+), we found enough spots to enjoy to make this a pleasant outing even in the middle of the day. It is a different view of a wonderful city and a nice break from the cultural immersion at the galleries.
Madrid Río is a lovely, new park where you can go for a walk or take a cup of coffee with your friends. You can also see a panoramic view of many important buildings: the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Torre de Madrid and Edificio España.
This is right in the heart of Madrid and it is very well hidden. I thought it was just a park but you even have boating on a huge lake.
While panic-scrolling through my TripAdvisor app, I came across this attraction and was intrigued. It is definitely worth a visit. The bridge is an impressive feat of construction that is also very photogenic, if you like metal constructions. This is also a great place to bring kids as there are some water fountains and wet play areas. My only regret was not spending more time here / wearing a bikini under my clothes! Highly enjoyable walk with an ice cream!
