Parque Madrid Rio is a quite substantial park that was just a joy to visit.
My twin brother Stephen and I had come down to this part of town to visit the wonderful two bridges namely Puerto De Toledo and Puerta De Praga and also view Atletico Madrid's former football stadium namely Estadio Vincente Calderón before its demolition and on a roasting hot afternoon we walked through the park area along the banks of the River Manzanares.
We cooled down in a water feature and took in the great park area ,its cool ,its a green area and an urban area combined and is most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a holiday to Madrid, it's such a popular locals park ,its fun and easy to locate on Paseo De La Ermita Del Santo in the Usera neighbourhood.
