I went there twice in 2011 in business trips and I recommend this hotel.
Good service all around but yet reasonable prices for a 4 star hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, a couple of stops away from Puerta Del Sol.
Good size rooms in a quiet street.
Safe choice.

Good location. This hotel is a bit old. Very bad sound insulation. From the hotel room there is a spice scent that I do not like. However, it is very clean. The bath room is very classic. The bed is very comfortable. I would recomand this hotel if you could book it with three star hotel price.

This hotel was recommended to me by a Madrid resident, and he was spot on! There was not a single thing that went wrong with this hotel.Above all, I loved the fact that the room was quiet (which is not always so easy to find in a busy city).

it is a lovely hotel, just 3 few minutes from Alonso Martinez metro station. Rooms are very big and bathrooms too. Everything is super clean. Nice and helpful people. Breakfast is a buffe but with plenty of options..

Room Tip: ask for the room with windows not facing the main street

We stayed here in november for 4 nights. The rooms are well cleaner everything day. There is a safe in every room. WIFI too. I suggest to take a room with breakfast included because it is very good en cheaper then restaurants in the neighbourhood. The location is perfect for visiting the city. 100 mtr. from the metrostation. The beds are good.

Room Tip: We didn't slept at the streetside. In the backside it is very quiet.

The hotel itself is a little outside the city centre, but is still easily accessible via the excellent Metro system.

The staff were pleasant and the rooms were more than adequate (I saw three, being part of a group visit) with complimentary tolitries and free wi-fi (albeit sometimes sporadic) included.

There was also the bonus of a noon check-in and check out, so overall I would recommend it for a stay in Madrid.

Stayed here for four nights in October. Everything was fine, good staff very clean, quiet. We didn't make use of the facilities (bar/breakfast). The hotel is one minute walk from Alonso Martinez metro station, so most of the city will be accessable in 30 minutes on the system. There was also a nice cafe (called Juicy Avenue?) just outside the metro too, good for breakfast.
We paid around £75 per night, don't think we could have expected anything better for this price.
