Located only a few minutes from Puerto del Sol,you could not find a better location! The Staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated and there is lovely lounge to unwind after a day of walking. This hotel is very security conscious with elevator accessed only with your room key. This was the third time we stayed, and we will stay again if we are ever in Madrid in the Future.

Classical room. Good service. If you have room in front of street, risk of noise due to night attraction friday and saturday. Special mention to breakfast. Lunch and diner is bit expansive. Wifi is free. TV connected but with only 2 french TV.

My wife and I and 2 other couples stayed for several days at Hotel Liabeny. It is in a great, central location on a quiet side-street. Turn right out of the hotel, walk 20 paces, and you enter a fabulous pedestrian area full of shops and restaurants that connects to several plazas. It is an older property with traditional rooms that are clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The bathrooms are large and have 2 features that made me very happy: the "rainforest" type shower head is 7-feet high (no more cringing) and the commode flushes with enough force to get the job done with one flush, unlike most European fixtures. Staff at the hotel are uniformly friendly, the lounges and bars are lovely and the restaurant is nice. On top of all this, the rates are stunningly reasonable. We would not think of staying elsewhere in Madrid.

Selected on previous reviews. Excellent hotel, clean, modern, staff exceptionally helpful. Concierge Victor & Pedro, as well as Ana, at the front desk , made our visit most enjoyable. Linens changed everyday when room was cleaned. Very safe hotel environmentl . Left money out by mistake, found in plastic bag, left by the housekeeper. Four people stayed, and would choose that hotel again. The location was within walking distance of Metro, & Plaza de Mayor, Baja Cava ( many Tapas bars there), and the San Miguel Market a must visit.

We recently travelled to this hotel for a family holiday. We stayed three nights. The hotel is in a great location and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. The rooms were clean but perhaps a little tired. The most annoying thing was that the staff never wrote anything down for drinks orders so as often as not they got it wrong. To be fair there were seven of us. The same could be said for most restaurants we visited and it really started to irritate until we found a really nice Chinese on our last night where the meal and service were very good. The Grand Palace is well worth a visit. Breakfasts were very good in the hotel with a good choice of hot and cold food. The staff were helpful and pleasant overall.

Very nice accommodations, ended up with a suite even though it wasn't what we made a reservation for, nice surprise. Beautiful bathroom, large, comfortable (king) bed. Location was excellent, easy walk to most of the sites. Very nice lobby and helpful staff.

Situated in the city center of Madrid, a two blocks walk to Puerta del Sol, this 4 star hotel is always a good stay. The rooms are confortable, wide and clean, the breakfast is very tasty. The street is quiet, however situated in the middle of everything you need: shops, cinemas, libraries, restaurants, the Gran Via, the Plaza Mayor, and other atractions. We have been many times at this hotel and will come back.
