Good but not better than that. The hotel has a nice interior design, close to the airport and city center. However, not too much opportunities can be found at a walking distance. The restaurant and breakfast is not good.

We stayed one night before a flight home and found this hotel to be in a quiet and safe neighborhood, five blocks from a Metro Station. This station is a half-hour from Madrid Center, and 15 minutes from the airport. Not a great location if you're touring Madrid. The buffet breakfast was adequate to good, staff were friendly, the room was clean , good beds and towels. Free wireless Internet . We got a good sleep here, and I would rate it 3 1/2 star overall.

I stayed here overnight on business and would not stay here again under any circumstances.

The room was in a poor state, in fact the whole place was pretty run down.

The service was ok but nothing spectacular. The braekfast was one of the worst I have had in the last year away on business.

Location was way out of the main town deep in the suburbs.

Having booked the hotel due to its central Madrid location, i was a bit disappointed to find that it didn't actually appear on the central Mdarid map that I purchased. It needed the additional 2km's besides the 10km x 10Km on the map itself. The nearest Metro station is about 5 minutes walk away, and you only need to go 7 stops to reach Goya which is the heart of the "upmarket" shopping area of Madrid. To reach Sol or Servilla which are the heart of tourist Madrid, you'll need to change and head further south for 3 or 4 stops, so "central" is a very loose term. The hotel itself has a couple of staff who know a little English, the bar staff / waiters have little or no English at all, which is difficult when trying to order in Spanish, then being asked different questions in response in 100mph spanish. The food is very good. Would recommend an evening meal and a few drinks in the bar which isn't cheap, but offers value for money in terms of quality. The rooms are OK, but not wonderful, beds are very hard, and can be uncomfortable for anyone used to posterpedic or softer forms of matress. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, only a mini-bar which isn't overly blessed in either size or content. The bar closes promptly at 11pm, so any chance of a late night drink or even a coffee after returming the 11 stops from "Central Madrid" is almost certainly out of the question. For the business traveller its probably worth it, but tourists would be wise to look at either central hotels or hostels depending on budget.. Hotel is OK, but you'd be better off going to Barecelona and having a wonderful time enjoying it with locals who are proud of their heritage and happy to share it with visitors. Madrid is aimed towards Spanish speaking tourists, and although there are translations in English in most public places, very few of the people of the city will make a similar effort.

I stayed at this hotel for one night while vacationing in Madrid and all I can say is the room was very different from the offer showed through the internet. I booked a single room and it was tiny, located on the ground floor near the reception area, so the noise of the people doing the night cleaning awakened me several times. The bathroom had a strange smell though it was clean and well maintained.
This will be certainly my last time in this hotel.

I just returned from a 10 day (4 Country) business trip and this was one of the many hotels I stayed at during my trip. This place turned out to be a great place to stay! It was in a very quiet neighborhood, it was very close to a Metro stop (about a block away), the rooms were nicely decorated, and they offered fee internet access to the guests. The rate was very reasonable for the quality of hotel. It is a bit far from the down town tourist area but who cares with the metro stop a block away.
