“Nice lunch menu”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Empty from 2 until 3:30PM, I had a decent lunch on my own. Good salad with sundried tomatoes and brie. Big portion of thai chicken, maybe too heavy on coconut milk. Price was 10'90. Good value. Waitress was efficient (i was on my own) but seemed rather angry. A nice place for a quick bite if you are around.

“Fabulous but why so low on TA??”
Reviewed 20 February 2014

I don't get it. Had lunch here today and it was excellent. Service, food and ambience were all very well done. Had the meal of the day and for 10.9 Euros you can't beat the value - an outstanding Lentil soup, very good Thai chicken in a tasty and spicy coconut sauce, and an apple cake dessert with ice cream that was perfect.

My expresso was top shelf and enjoyed a couple of beers while my daughter had the papardelle with prawns which she thoroughly enjoyed. The bill came to 33.5 Euros.

It was well worth the money. Only 18 seats in the place. I like restaurants like this…. Smal but very good.

TA should be looking at their placement/ranking algorithms - no idea how this place is so low. It won local restaurant awards in 2012 and 2013.

This is a no fail great quality meal and experience. Those are worth gold to me as I tried some places far higher in the ranking and no way they touch this place. I have had some bad meals in Madrid but this is likely the best one for the entire week.

“Food made with Exceptional Care”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

This small restaurant surprised and delighted us. The appetizer of burrata cheese was simple but of the highest quality, beautifully accented with truffle oil. The octopus was also delicious. But above all, do not miss the tiramasu! One of of the best versions I've had anywhere. The manager was so friendly and welcoming, it made our evening. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you want something off the tourist track. It's located in Malasaña neighborhood, where there are many other cool, small restaurants.

“Really fun”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

Went here on my last night in Madrid on the recommendation from the hotel staff and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere is great, the food excellent and the service unbeatable. We don't speak any Spanish, but the owner speaks it excellently and took over from the waitress, but everyone was very accommodating. My wife is a fussy eater and there was no problem getting what she wanted by adjusting the dishes. This is a hidden gem in Madrid, but go early since it fills up fast; only about 6 tables. And it was nice being the only foreigners in the place for a change.
