“Great place to Picnic”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

Grab yourself some nibbles and wine and catch the cable car to the park. Only a 11 minute trip from the city centre but a great place to "Chillax" away from the city hubbub.

“Nice balance to Parque de Retiro”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

This park is more free-form than Retiro, but very attractive in its own way. Walk in the Olive Tree groves, enjoy the amusement park, go to the Zoo, but be sure to relax and have coffee or a meal at any of the open air cafes next to the lake. Beautiful views of majestic Madrid on the hillside nearby.

“Huge park right beside Madrid”
Reviewed 28 January 2014

The is a giant park (former hunting ground of the king) right next to the downtown core. You can walk there, take a cable car, or the metro. Between Fall to Spring this is a great relaxing place to come and stroll around, take a bike ride (challenge yourself to a couple of laps of the Triathlon route), or simply sit beside the Lago (lake) and have a drink. If you're planning a day out, a trip down the Manzanares Rio (river) and into Casa de Campo is a nice way to enjoy nature in a big city.

“A walk in the park, picnics, sports and family moments”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

A great place, huge park, amazing to take a walk, to organize picnics during spring and summer time, for jogging and training and basically the perfect spot to spend a family weekend.

“Disappointing ”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 via mobile

We went on the cable car which was very good. The park is vast but not that pretty.Trying to find our way out of the park was difficult as sign posting was very poor and it was a long walk to the metro station.
