Went here twice during our recent stay at the AC Marriott Carlton in Madrid. Recommended by the hotel and very close in a part of the city just off the main tourist area and short of good restaurants. You go through the bar to the restaurant at the back and the menu is mid priced traditional Spanish. Wines are very reasonable, we had the house Reuda twice. On the first night we had steak but on the second night we really enjoyed a house speciality, a huge loin of hake with prawns and boiled potatoes - quite expensive but fantastic and would have been enough for four!
Very friendly staff with good little extras, cheese and digestive
