“It's just that... a walk up and down the street but relaxing”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

Walk from Atocha all the way up or down, it is a matter of perspective to Plaza Colon. See the National Library, Casa Las Americas, The Correo (Post Office) and the eyesore, Hard Rock Café... but go check this walk out. If you read Atocha, take the metro back if you reach Colon, take the metro back to Sol. A nice afternoon or morning jog.

“To learn the heart of any city, walk it”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Strolling the streets of Madrid is a fabulous experience, and this street is no exception. There are book sellers and lots of stuff to take in and photo opportunities; from Atocha train station to the Prado museum itself. Take your time and hope for good weather.
For a review of the Prado museum itself and not the street leading up to it, look for that attraction.
