We made this trip at the last minute. The hotel gave us a good location to travel from for meetings. The reception desk for the hotel is on the sixth floor. The room was comfortable with a small balcony.

I looked on line hoping to choose a nice hotel, for my trip to Madrid. Then bingo I saw this one, it had good reviews booked it and LOVE it. Will tell you why, the size of the room is great, the bathroom wonderful and the most unexpected was a private balcony and two twin beds. Huge cupboard, flatscreen tv. Like most say when you enter you are not sure but well worth it. Central to everything.

We stayed 4 nights with the family (2 adults, 2 teens) in this top apartment at the 9th floor for only 500€. It has 2 bedrooms and a large living room with open kitchen. All new, white coloured and with new flat screen TV's in all rooms. Very modern and large bathroom. Foto on website does not show this excellent new apartment.

Room tip: Book the apartment

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. Given the price of larger hotels and the fact we wanted to watch our budget this was a great little centrally located hostel. It appears that Madrid is awash with hostels and having only stayed in Madrid this once our review is purely based on this place as I cannot compare to others. We arrived late myself, husband and 12 year old daughter and although the hostel was aware we needed an extra bed there wasn't one in the room. The night porter tried his hardest to sort this out for us with his limited English and my limited Spanish - he couldn't do it by himself and was extremely apologetic. So our first sleep was rather uncomfortable. The room itself was great - 5 windows so fabulous views. Room 905. I know some people said get an inner room because of street noise, but take earplugs and get the views. Amazing, especially when bathed in sunlight. Located on Gran Via, perfect location, we explored on foot, didn't bother with the tourist buses as the traffic was horrendous and we walked quicker than the bus. Simple map given to us by reception was more than adequate and street signs everywhere. Everything you needed in a room, light, bright, clean, airy, spacious, mini bar reasonably priced, lots of wardrobe and storage space. Breakfast was fine, not fancy, cold meats, cheese, fruit, breads, rolls, cereals, yogurts, orange juice, tea, coffee. A little hard to find the hostel but if you look out for Tapas 44 it's just a few doorways to the left. On check out reception waived our mini bar costs and deducted 20 euros from our room bill for the mix up on the first night. Would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: If you want street views, take earplugs, if you're not bothered about views take an inner room

The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was a great balcony, and fridge. For 5 euro there was a really great buffet breakfast available. The location was very central. I'd stay here again.
