Stayed here based on Trip Advisor reviews, and it exceeded expectations. Unbeatable location close to the centre of city, yet still quiet, very clean, Being close to supermercado and with kitchen facilities, no problem making breakfast and snacks. Would stay there again no problem.

Room Tip: Studio is fine for 2 people - book early for this

My wife and I selected this apartment for our may 2010 vacations based on the fairly good reviews previously written by other vacationers. The location of the hotel is great. It is located within walking distance of Plaza del Sol, Gran Via, Plaza Santa Ana, the King's Palace, plenty of good restaurants and bars, and several other tourists attractions. The physical condition of the apartment and its cleanliness (or rather lack of cleanliness), however, had a lot to be desired. The apartment did no have a cofee maker. We requested one from the small front desk in operation, and were told that none of the apartments included a coffee maker in their kitchen utensils. The furniture available, 2 red sofa beds and 2 lounges were filthy. We are not tall people (5 feet 6 inches tall), however, the bed in the master room was so small, it was very difficult for us to sleep peacefully. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, however, housekeeping only made the room only twice, althoug we repeatedly complained to the front desk in operation. We would not stay again at this hotel, nor we would recommend it to third parties.

The location is great, just a few steps form Puerta del Sol and Plaza Ana. Great restaurants and bars nearby. The streets around the hotel are buzzing at night. Staff very friendly. The rooms are large for being so central, airco does an excellent job. There is a small kitchen with just enough kitchenware. Only disadvantage are the thin walls. You hear everything from your neighbours. So take your earplugs and you'll be fine!

My wife and I stayed in a room with a kitchenette. It was clean, spacious and reasonably well appointed. It is not five-star luxury, but it was more than adequate for our purposes, given that we spent our days out and about, and only came back to our room to sleep. The kitchenette was a nice touch, although we didn't use it for any meals other than breakfast.

The real attraction to this place is the location. It is located in the heart of old Madrid, in a very charming and bustling neighbourhood and close to two Metro stations (which makes for easy and cheap airport access). It is the sort of area where there are always people about, which makes one feel very comfortable. I would return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel was fairly run down. The staff was great and the room was comfortable and quiet, and that's worth a lot. But make sure you put your "service required" sign out in the AM, or no one will clean. Also, be aware that sheets are not changed every day. Aside from this, it's a basic and adequate room with well worn amenities. The location is great and the desk staff was really accomodating, though.

I booked two apartments in April for myself and 3 friends. Both rooms were situated on the 1st floor, and both were very spacious, clean and airy. The kitchen facilities were great - including a modern 4 ring electric hob and microwave. The location is perfect - within walking distance of the major sights, and just a step away from the Plaza St Ana, which is a lovely spot for a tortilla in the sun! Would definitely stay in this hotel again!

We had a great stay here in Sept 08. The Apts are in a great central location - not only right near P. d. Sol and close to the Pl. Mayor - but right in the centre of the great restaurant / bar / nightlife area. Lots of great tapas bars (not to menion the well known ones on P. Santa Ana - 30 secs away). Loads of places to eat and also for breakfast/ coffee.

The Apts are great - very clean and above average standard bathroom. Room had full catering facilities which although we didn't use them - looked to be well equipped for cooking etc. The building is nice - had an old wooden staircase and small lift. The room had huge wooden shutters which blocked out the street noise (the locals do like to party!!).

Madrid is a fantastic place - lots to do and great atmosphere. The Apts are worth more than their two keys!!
