This hotel may be small in size however the service and facilities are exceptional. The location to Puerta del Sol is less than two minutes walk. Nearby there are many high quality restaurants and bars. The rooms (Superiors) are extremely well appointed with all modern facilities and are kept spotlessly clean. The staff are very professional and helpful and willing to go out of their way to be of assistance. The buffet breakfast was also very good value

Average, but clean hotel with very pleasant staff, in excellent location, and about 1 minute from the train station. If you catch the train from the airport you will need to change trains twice and 2 of the stations only have stairs so it is difficult if you have luggage. The beds were a bit hard, rooms small and a little on the old side, but adequate for a short stay.

We stayed in the Regina Hotel for 4 nights in July 2011.
This hotel has a great location in the centre of madrid.
Check-in staff very quick and efficient and requests made when booking were quickly dealt with. We had room 534 which had a nice balcony.
This was our 2nd stay in the Regina, and we will book it agian for our next trip.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. The location is great and the breakfast was fabulous.....probably the best hotel breakfast that we had in a month of European travel! The value for the money was excellent and everyone at the hotel was so helpful. If we travel back to Madrid, we would definitely stay here again.

We were surprised to find this very convenient and reasonably priced hotel. It is a very good location and is also very convenient to public transit. Although we arrived well before check-in thanks to an early AM flight, they were more than happy to check me in upon arrival. Service was very efficient and the rooms were nicely appointed for a 3 stars hotel. The buffet breakfast was perfect, and the Wi-Fi worked great. We'd definitely stay at this property again and have already recommended it to others.

Took their deal of about 110 euro if you stay two nights for a single.

Great deal, great location. Room not big, but spacious enough (no view at such rate though). 100% clean, and as a I said, just can't beat the location.

The location is tremendous and everywhere is walkable : Sol 150 metres; Plaza Mayor 750m, Prado 1k, Reina Sofia 1.5K, Thysen 1K, best bar life in the known universe right around you. Hotel is about 25m from Sevilla Metro stop (about 45 mins in from the airport). Taxi from airport depends on the time of day but 20 mins or so if it's quiet.

It's only a 3-star hotel nominally and the rooms can be dark (though excellent size), but, hey, they are very quiet and peaceful and how much time are you going to spend awake in them anyway? Breakfast is ok if not exciting, reception staff friendly and helpful, there is a pleasant bar, everything in the room works, especially the AC and the cleaning is fine. Come out of the front door, go straight ahead down to the Plaza de Canalejos (150m) and the extraordinary plethora of places to have a good time in Madrid opens out in all its glory.

Try getting the Metro - 20 minutes or so - to Casa de Campo station and walking through 1900 hectares of forest (of the same name) before catching the telepherique back into town.

Room Tip: Don't get a room at the front - it will be much noisier
