“Great Value”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

Great value for money - I stay here as my home whenever in Madrid - lovely staff, good breakfast and comfortable rooms....not to mention plenty of parking and a swimming pool in the summer. Very happy every time.

Nice quiet location about 30 min taxi from the airport. Bit tricky to get in and out of Madrid from here but we weren't here for sightseeing. 3 good looking buildings overlooking the grounds and pool. Pool wasn't open as it was late Jan but it looked like it would be very nice in the summer.

Good English speaking staff. Hotel was virtually empty so staff were a bit thin on the ground but still managed to get a few beers and reasonable meal in the evening.

Rooms largish and pretty clean. Old fashioned CRT TV's (by today's standards anyway). Took my iPad to play a movie or two as I had a long wait in the hotel but couldn't plug it in. Free Wi-Fi was pretty good and fast though.

The overall experience was ok and the only point I would class as a negative was that the hotel corridors have those automatic air fresheners that pump out at a pre determined interval. To say that the smell was "overpowering" would be an understatement! Whoever set them up filled them with the strongest perfume ever and must have set the interval to every minute or something! I don't know if they have a problem with their drains that they were trying to cover up but I have smelt better in the service station lavatory!

Aside from this it was perfectly acceptable though, but not really a tourist hotel I think.

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool/grounds is a much nicer outlook.

Lovely Hotel. We chose this Hotel because it was near to the Racecourse and it was perfect for our short stay. The Hotel is in 3 different buildings all 3 stories high. A bit like 3 different houses! The rooms are large enough and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a full bath and the hair dryer actually worked well. Yes there was only one chair, but that's normal. We had a ground floor room which had an enormous terrace.
The buildings are close together but you do need to go outside from some rooms to get to the main building which has the bar and dining room. The public areas are clean and fresh and all the staff were super helpful and spoke very good English. We ate in the Restaurant on both evenings. We decided to sit in the bar area and although the menu was a little bit restricted the food was excellent and always served with a smile! The waiter helped me with my 'allergies', took advise from the chef, and I ended up with the perfect meal.Breakfast is what you expect in a Spanish Hotel, a cold option of fruit, meat and cake, normal bread selection and HOT bacon and egg; all help yourself.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have a terrace, having a room in the main building means that you don't get we...

Friendly attentive staff, some speak English. First impressions of hotel don't carry through to the bedrooms, which, though immaculately clean, are tired and not what you'd expect of a 4star hotel. Interestingly the in room directory doesn't show any stars with this hotel. Only 1 chair in dble rm. Think travelodge with mini bar and bidet and that sums it up.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view. We looked over the carpark to an old peoples' home.

Everyone, from the life guard at the pool, to the cleaners, to the restaurant staff to reception, was extremely helpful and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent price, outstanding service. Would highly recommend.

These hotel matched our expectations. We knew it was a litle bit away from city center but with some good deals that worked for us like free wireless conection at all hotel areas and rooms ,free parking with plenty space, swimming pool and padle court.Actually, it 's very easy to get to city center by car, about 10 minutes on a very acessible road. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms and bathrooms are big enough. No complains at all.

Room Tip: It's a good hotel choice if you have a car.
