Location is great for visiting madrid, and you can walk pretty much everywhere. Some great restaurants on the doorstep.
Staff were very helpful.
Room was quite noisy, we could hear next door in the morning and housekeeping.
Disappointed that the terrace wasn't open even though it was a very hot weekend.
Rooms were small and we've stayed in better 5 star hotels but it was fine for a capital city. Would stay again but would check that terrace and pool were open first.

This hotel is in a perfect location if you plan on visiting the Prado, Reina Sofia, and/or Thyssen museums. It's a beautiful building, and we stayed in a duplex suite that was large and comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous and the collection of Egyptian jewelry the hotel has is amazing.

On the downside, the hotel website doesn't mention that only the 2nd floor of the hotel is non-smoking. The email room confirmation didn't mention this either. The first two nights were fine, but chain-smokers were in a room adjacent to ours on the last night and every puff was sucked into our AC. We asked to be moved to a non-smoking room and were told there weren't any available and in the morning were offered a free breakfast for our trouble. If you are AT ALL sensitive to smoke I would only stay on the 2nd floor. It's unfortunate since the duplex suite was so gorgeous.

Bonus* There is a pretty good vegetarian restaurant RIGHT around the corner, which is wonderful considering the difficulty of finding something to eat sans pork in Spain.

Hotel Urban is a good hotel. Location is great for navigating throughout Madrid but in particular for the musuems and other attractsions on the Prada.

This is a luxury hotel. However, do not expect luxury on the scale of US. Hotel is relatively small. Only downside was that house keeping started early (around 8am, at the latest) and I could hear them in the hallway as if to say get up sleepy head. Some what distracting given the well known late hours of Madrilenos.

Again, overall good hotel but would suggest removing label of high end luxury.

This is a very good or great hotel in Madrid. I was close to saying "Excellent" only because we stayed in some amazing hotels in other cities. It is a pretty good location - I would stay here or farther to the east. Clean. Nice breakfast. Nice front desk/concierge.

They were very accommodating when we needed to make a change in reservations.

We are from midwestern US.

complete mixed bag for our stay at the urban ,service friendly efficient and attentive from check in through the bar and restaurant ,chic and fun .The location is very good for the major tourist spots .Unfortunately sleeping in the hotel is another matter ,noisy ,small beds and rooms also a little on the small side as to the gym they would have been better of not bothering with it .Overall a disappointment once you left the ground floor .

We booked a standard double room. Room was a good enough size, quiet and as you can see from all the travellers photo’s looks fantastic with it’s contemporary decor and has been done to a very high standard. Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the area on the roof for chilling out after a hard days traipsing around being a tourist. (Pool tiny though) Agree with all other positive reviews on this hotel. It is pricy but I guess you get what you pay for.
