Great street FULL of amazing tapas bars and places to eat. Do not miss. Lots of atmosphere. Even some cool places to stay along the street. Posada del Dragon.

Cava Baja is such a great street. Depending on the night, once it comes to life, spend time there just going to place to place and sampling the food and drink .

This street is full of bars, cafes and restaurants. You can easily spend the night walking down the street and popping in to different places for a drink and a bite to eat. Don't expect Michelin star, do expect local good value.

Although this street is full of bars, cafes and restaurants, personally I wouldn't recommend eating here. In comparison to a lot of other places in Madrid we just felt it was full of tourists (my partner and I live in Spain and speak Spanish, but we constantly spoken to in English) and overpriced. There was nothing particularly special here, personally I wouldn't recommend going out of your way - there are much better places for eating in Madrid, with a more authentic atmosphere!

stayed in a flat on this street for almost a week. its a one way street with lots of bars and restaurants - nothing great about it. gets very crowded and noisy thu - sat night and lets up a bit on sunday night onwards. i saw lots of groups being led around, i couldnt appreciate the street for it being more than just a street!
