Very clean hostel. The room we stayed in was a 4 bed dorm that we booked as a private room. It was spacious enough and the bathroom was cleaned every day. We each had our own locker with lock/key provided and the air con worked.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was a good selection (although some fruit wouldn't go astray).
Location is excellent, very close to shops and some cool neighborhoods. When you're looking for the place, if coming from Gran Via, it's in a corner, behind you so you may walk past it the first time as we did so if you have crossed the first block you've gone too far.
My only criticism is that there's no kitchen, so if you're on a super budget this may put some people off.
Defiantly recommend!!

The hostel is a good place to stay to come alone, with your friends, to party or to go sightseeing. It's clean, has a nice breakfast for that price, good location, very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are big enough although wifi has its reach from the lobby till the second floor.

The place is located near the historical town centre, it is easy to get there from subway (there are two station nearby).Rooms are clean and more importantly air-conditioned, lockers are also available. The service quality is good and the breakfast is included. Moreover there is a bar (open from the evening to about 2 a.m) which is relatively cheap in comparison to most turistic places. Additionally, a free walking tour and pub crawling (about 10 euro) start there, both are pretty good (organised by MADride Tours).
To sum up the hostel is recommended if you need a cheap (20 euro) place to sleep in Madrid.

This hostel is really nice they have a good breakfast, a bar the people at reception are really helpfull, but the best are the tours (free tour, tapas, flamenco and the pub crawl) they offer to their guest, I went to all of them and are the best way to meet other travellers if you are travelling alone.
I really reccommend it if you are going to Madrid

Room Tip: If you go to this hostel you have to try the tours!

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the hostel. It's very walkable to the metro stations, and the main plaza. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hostel staff is very friendly and helpful and they would gladly give us suggestions on places to eat and shop. The free breakfasts were served cafeteria style. In the evenings, the breakfast area is turned into a bar with reasonably priced drinks. The only negative is that there is noise from passing pedestrians, and delivery trucks even in the middle of the night so be sure to bring your ear plugs or white noise apps!

the hostel is located in the centre of town, a few minutes from one of the main plaza and the Main Street (gran via). the room was small as expected of a typical hostel but it was clean. the doors to your room were terrible, it took forever to lock and unlock them. breakfast is included but it's the same everyday and after 6 days we got quite bored of it. the front desk is open 24hours, some of the staff are very nice and helpful but one of them was rude and not particularly friendly. however, we did not get the room we booked for, though they gave us one night free for the trouble, we had to check out and in again two times during our 6 day stay. one time the receptionist even gave us a key to a room where someone was still staying at, which is extremely unsafe and rude for the people of that room, we return the keys immediately and he did apologise but it was a bad impression in terms of safety at the hostel.

I spent 3 nights there. Hostel is perfectly located! Less then 5min walking from Puerta del Sol and Gran Via & Callao subway stations. Rooms and ensuited bath are clean. Beds are comfortable. In room lockers are enough to store mid-size backpack. I didn't see any common bath, so consider taking a smaller room to avoid waiting in line for a ensuited bath ;)
Breakfast is simple: cereals, toasts, jam, fruits, tea/coffee, ... but nothing is limited ;)
Watch out - you won't prepare breakfast on your own, as far there is no kitchen :(
The reception stuff speaks English and is nice and helpful :)
Good value for money.
