Very good location, the center of Madrid. Many metro stations near. Hostel is big. I was in private room for two with a privat bathroom. The room was ok, but a bit cold. Hostel has also a bar, but no kitchen. Stuff is ok.

Room Tip: I was in privat room. it was a bit cold in the room. It was november.

Hostels are good for cheap lodging and to meet people. This one is in a great location and has a friendly, efficient staff. I was particularly impressed with Ishmael in reception. He was exceptionally concerned and helpful when he found out I had been sick. He was also very helpful recommending places to visit and locating places on the map for me and other guests. He was 5 star service in a less than 5 star environment.

Honestly, the rooms are a bit cramped and this being Spain, people were coming and going at all hours. Lots of students and young people keep the place lively. That being said, it wasn't a bad value. I would stay there again.

We stopped by Motion Hostel at the beginning of October. We booked a 3 persons room with private bathroom, which was perfect. We didn't wake up for breakfast, so I cannot comment on that...
It's located right in the center, walking distance from everything your heart desires (yeah, girls, even close to the shopping area). :)
The guys at the reception were cool, friendly and helpful.
There are free maps at the reception and if you ask for recommendations of what to do in the city during your stay you will be given some (maps from the guys at MADride are also given at the reception, in case you want to join a Free Walking Tour or the Pub Crawls at night, where you can meet travelers as yourself).

Next time in Madrid, I'll make sure to book a room there, again. :)

Better place, better price, better location.
I could do everything by foot.
The breakfast is awesome, lot of fruits, hosts, teas, included!
They changed the sheet almost everyday, and for me it was cool because of the summer and because I really apreciate a well cleaned place!
The staff is also amazing. I just loved... Im sure it was the best Hostel in my EuroTrip.
Thank you all =)

Room Tip: Chose the first floor, because the elevator is not good. I satayed in a girls bedroom and it was ve...

Very clean hostel. The room we stayed in was a 4 bed dorm that we booked as a private room. It was spacious enough and the bathroom was cleaned every day. We each had our own locker with lock/key provided and the air con worked.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was a good selection (although some fruit wouldn't go astray).
Location is excellent, very close to shops and some cool neighborhoods. When you're looking for the place, if coming from Gran Via, it's in a corner, behind you so you may walk past it the first time as we did so if you have crossed the first block you've gone too far.
My only criticism is that there's no kitchen, so if you're on a super budget this may put some people off.
Defiantly recommend!!

The hostel is a good place to stay to come alone, with your friends, to party or to go sightseeing. It's clean, has a nice breakfast for that price, good location, very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are big enough although wifi has its reach from the lobby till the second floor.
