this is a decent 4starjotel in a very good location, ideal during gay events. for just a little more i would upgrade to a deluxe room, you get more space considering how small the regular rooms are. servise at the front desk is nice and helpful, they even held my suitcases until my next visit to madrid! we like it

Dear costumer,

Thank you for the rating you give to the hotel, we appreciate it.

The hotel has two types of rooms, standard and superior rooms. The smaller standard room has around 20 square meters; it is a very good size if we compare with other renovates hotels in Madrid center. The superior rooms have up to 30 square meters, it is a very good size. The difference in price is only 26€ per day, it worth.

Best Regards

We have stayed here several times over the last few years. It is a well located hotel that has been tastefully remodeled. The rooms are spacious by European standards as are the bathrooms. Located one block from the Grand Via on a fairly quiet street. The staff are all quite helpful. In room safe, coffee and complimentary Wi-fi. Halls need to be carpeted to cut down on noise and echo.

Room Tip: Street view rooms are noisier.

Dear costumer,

We are very happy to know that you are a loyalty guest of our hotel; it is always a very good notice because it means that we make a good work during a long time, THANK YOU.

As we comment in other occasion the manager and owner love the wood, and he prefer it instead the carpet. The hotel has 40 rooms 10 in each floor so the traffic is not heavy in the floors and the noise is minimal.

Thank a lot for your remark; I hope to see you soon.

Our second time here and we managed to get the same room as before (208). Great location just off the Grand Via and just inside Chueca. Airport Express bus stops in Cybeles and is 500 metres from the hotel - €2 fare. Better than 2 changes on the metro!!!!

Very comfortable rooms and fairly quiet for a city hotel. Large bathrooms, fee wifi in the whole hotel. We know the restaurant is good but we couldn't use it this stay - it was fully booked each day! Says something!

At €12 we don't take breakfast, as there are cafes and bars all around to buy what you need for much less - if you really need eggs to start your day, go to VITAMINA restaurant on the Grand Via.

Room Tip: Higher floors get less street noise, the quietest rooms face an inner courtyard with no view

Dear guest,

We want to thank you for your nice comments about the hotel, thank you.

The front desk department works to give the guest the all their preferences, if you like the room with big bed, twin, quiet… we try to give it to you.

The hotel has a perfect location to visit the city and also it has the best connection to or from the airport, as you say the bus is the best option. It cost only 2€ and in 35 minutes you are in your destination.

Thank you about your remarks about the hotel and it facilities. I want to remember all the guest that our wireless connection is totally FREE.

We are fortunate to have a restaurant with a very good acceptance. If the guest wants they can reserve in advance in the restaurant web site www.restauranteexlibris.com

We hope to see you soon.

Best Regards

We enjoyed our four- night stay but hope next time we book at this hotel we will experience a few improvements. Floors in the hallways outside of the room are not carpeted. You hear every single footstep. Women in high heels make for a particularly loud and bothersome experience. Also, the robes hanging low above the bidet look quite unsanitary. You even wonder whether they really get replaced between guest visits. Our drinking glasses were never washed, never replaced. We trust these are all simple chamges the hotel can consider.

Dear guest,

First of all I want to thank you for your comment about our hotel, we appreciate that the costumers share their experience in our hotel and our City.

Nowhere in our hotel the carpet is used. The manager and the property consider that the wood is more elegant, it depends of likes… There are ten rooms in each floor of the hotel, so normally there is not too much traffic in the hallways; it implies that the noise should be minimal.

The housekeeper department is very careful about the cleanliness of the rooms, it is very important for the hotel and they know it. Under the sink there are hanging specially made for the towels. When a new guest arrives to the hotel will find ALWAYS a new clean towel, we promise you.

We hope to see you soon in our hotel.

Best Regards

The Reception staff is nice and gets a good location but it is needing a refurbishment. This refurbishement should include double windows. Now you hear the street noise, specially on week ends. Too expensive for what it offers.

Room Tip: Ask for an interior room to avoid the street noise.

Dear guest,

We are sorry that hotel didn’t cover your expectations. The hotel has all the services you can expect in a four star hotel: room service 24 hours, cafeteria, restaurant, free internet wireless and LAN system, good size rooms, flat TV with international channels, bath toiletries, air conditioning, heating… Normally the guest says that the hotel offers a very good value for money and we are sorry that you don’t think the same.

We are constantly making changes in the hotel to keep it on the perfect conditions that our guest needs.

I would like that in your next trip to Madrid you reserve in our hotel, we will work to change your opinion about us.

Best Regards

Great find. A block away from the 2euro airport bus stop. A walk to Chueca fun. A hop to Puerta del Sol. Great location in nightlife central and shopping mecca. A short stroll to Prado and El Retiro Park. In room wifi, comfy bed, huge bathroom all made from great confort. The only draw back being the floorboards throughout and the noise they created in the hallway. We needed extra pillows too but the staff were only too wiling to help.

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms have no street noise at all if that is something you want to avoid.

Dear guest,

Thank to qualify as “great find”.

From the hotel you can visit all the most important places in the city. As you say, from here you can walk to the Prado Museum, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor… in a few minutes. Our location is ideal if you want to visit the downtown.

To get the hotel from the airport the best option is the express bus shuttle. It costs only 2€ and you are in the airport in only 35-40 minutes. The return to the airport from the hotel, you can take the same bus from Cibeles Square, it is 4 minutes walking from the hotel.

We hope that you have time to visit again our city.

Best regards

This is a good choice in Madrid, especially for those on vacation and wanting to walk around and explore the heart of the city. It's close to Chueca without being in a direct party area. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are clean and very adequate. The soundproofing to the outside isn't the best, so if you are sensitive to noise advise the front desk so you can get a room on the interior. At least for what I paid, the value was very good.

A couple month's after staying I met someone on an airplane with an upcoming trip to Madrid for her anniversary with "no idea where to stay." I told her about Lusso Infantas and they stayed there. She emailed to say it was perfect, so I trust this has stayed a safe bet.

+ breakfast was awesome, great food, great coffee
+ staff was very friendly and helpful
+ location is excellent, easy to walk to both Retiro and Sol and everywhere in between. Right next to Chueca.

+/- bathroom a good size, but like many European hotels has that silly shower "door" that only covers half the side of the tub so water goes everywhere

- exterior windows don't cut noise that well

Dear guest,

Thanks a lot for your nice words about the hotel location; you are clear the hotel is in Chueca but not in the party area. We want to thank you for your recommendation to others visitors, we appreciate it. When you recommend our hotel you can be sure that all the staff will work to make a pleasant stay in our hotel.

When you make the reservation you can write all your requests on the remarks. If you prefer a bright room facing to the front, a quiet room, twin, double… The front desk department always read all the remark and they work to satisfied all the guest remarks.

We appreciate your words about the breakfast and our staff. We are working every day to improve the quality of our breakfast, it is a very important service for us.

We are studying how to soundproof the rooms. The hotel windows are heritage of the Madrid City and it is not easy to make any changes in it.

We hope to see you soon

Best Regards
